Sonam, goes about her morning routine - brushing her teeth, getting dressed, and fixing her hair.after getting ready she makes everyone their breakfast
Sonam sitting in the room looking out of window,when she is approached by ABHIRAJ, holding an envelope.
ABHIRAJ:sonam, hey! I've got something for you.
He hands her the envelope.
Sonam:What's this?
ABHIRAJ:Your enrollment ID for the online novel writing workshop.
Sonam's eyes widen in disbelief.
Sonam:oh, Abhiraj! Thank you so much. I can't believe you got this for me after...
ABHIRAJ:Yesterday? Let's just say I had a change of heart.
Sonam smiles excitedly hugs ABHIRAJ tightly, planting a kiss on his cheek. Not knowing his real intentions behind that enrollment.
As everything gets awkward when sonam suddenly realized what she did so she part away and looks down on her enrollment pass in embarrassment as she realized she have to attend class today onwards at 4 p.m. as she screams.
Sonam:Abhiraj , I have a classes from today itself.
Abhiraj who was frozed at his place flinched hearing her voice as he says.
Abhiraj: ahh, stop screaming. So what take your class. That's what you wanted right.
Sonam:But where I'll take my class.
Abhiraj: use my study room I don't use it anymore.
Sonam: thank you so much for that much. I'm so grateful for you.
Abhiraj: hmmm.. welcome.
As they both smile looking at each other the time has stopped the only thing they are noticing is each other's eyes and smile.
Suddenly abhiraj's phone range breaking their precious moment as he excuse her.
Abhiraj: I have to go back to the office.
As sonam nodded her head.
He left
At 4p.m.
Sonam sits attentively in the workshop class, completely engrossed in the lesson. That she forget that she had to attend a party too. As soon as her class ended she closed her laptop .
Sonam: I can't be less thankful for abhiraj. Thanks abhi . I'm so grateful of you
Sonam steps out of ABHIRAJ's study room and is surprised to see her MOTHER-IN-LAW waiting for her.
Mrs.Malhotra: hope your class was good.
Sonam:yeah it was good mom.
Mrs Malhotra:so sonam, dear. It's time to get ready for the party. Abhiraj is already downstairs waiting for you.
Sonam nods and rushes to get ready.
Sonam descends the stairs, stunning in a traditional saree, catching ABHIRAJ's breath as he watches her with admiration.
Soon sonam's attention turns toward abhiraj as she saw abhiraj wearing the tuxedo of her choice. She felt so happy. That he is wearing her choice.
ABHIRAJ:you look good today. You are pre....
Suddenly wave of realization hits Abhiraj as he shuts his mouth. Knowing he just wants to get rid of her.
Sonam blushes on his incomplete compliment and smiles shyly.
Sonam: I know, I look good...anyways..
Abhiraj looked looked everywhere but her.
Sonam:Thank you, Abhiraj. You're not looking too bad yourself in the tuxedo I selected for you.
Abhiraj's heart skipped a beat at this compliment. As soon as he realized he shrugged him self.
They exchange a brief, heartfelt compliment, both feeling a newfound warmth between them. As they left for the venue both seating behind in passenger seat as driver drives them to the venue. Both stealing each other's glance here and there.
AT VENUE
Sonam and Abhiraj arrive at the venue, arm in arm, flashing smiles for the awaiting media. Abhiraj in mind just know that it's a act.
ABHIRAJ: (whispering) Ready for this?
Sonam: (grinning) Absolutely.
As they step inside, Abhiraj introduces sonam to his business partners, who are quick to shower her with compliments.
BUSINESS PARTNER 1: Absolutely, Abhiraj. You've got yourself a gem.
Amidst the mingling, they encounter Mr. and Mrs. Tyagi, who warmly welcome them.
MRS. TYAGI: My goodness, you're even lovelier in person! And what a beautiful couple you two make.
They both blushed.
Sonam beams at the compliment, feeling genuinely welcomed.
ABHIRAJ: (checking his phone) Excuse me for a moment, I'll be right back.
As Abhiraj steps away, Mrs. Tyagi leans in, her eyes twinkling with affection.
MRS. TYAGI: You know, sonam, Abhiraj and Vanshika have been friends since they were knee-high. Vanshika's like family to us.
Sonam: Vanshika?
MRS. TYAGI: Yes, dear. She's our daughter. You'll love her. She's got Abhiraj wrapped around her little finger.
Sonam's curiosity peaks.
Sonam: Where's Vanshika now?
Mrs. Tyagi chuckles softly, her eyes gleaming with fond memories.
