What does a person do when things go down suddenly? The person leaves no stone unturned to solve their issues. It is a universal method and people do their best to survive but only a few manage to stay on top. Life is not a bed of roses. To stand out one must be very unique and smart. However, there are greedy and selfish people who go to the extent of destroying others to succeed themselves or to stay on the top. Some people use others to reach that powerful position or to live that luxurious life and then when they are no longer useful, they are discarded unceremoniously.

"We can put numerous charges on Dr Meenal but even now she says that you made her do all this. If we start court trials, your name will be out."

Dr Krishna sighed as he sat on the black rotating desk chair. In front of him was a dark brown table on which a laptop was kept along with a cordless phone and a couple of white colored files. On the right side of the table was a huge dark brown cupboard and on the far left was a grey-colored door. Exactly opposite the table was a sofa in velvet brown.

A man in a police uniform sat on a similar chair facing Mr Krishna. He wore a dull brownish-yellow police uniform of shirt and trousers with a brown gun holster on his waist. There were two badges on either side of his shirt. He wore a similar color peaked cap with a well-structured brim that provided shade. The top part of the cap that covered the head was the same color as the uniform. However, the lower part of the cap was dark blue.

"You are an Indian Police Services officer. Do something for me. Bring me out of this situation! Dr Krishna requested the man in uniform in front of him.

"The only thing I can think of is blackmail. You must blackmail Dr Meenal so that she keeps her mouth shut about you." Said the police officer.

"With what I should blackmail her? I don't even know much about her. All this happened so suddenly that I couldn't even understand." Said Dr Krishna, hitting his right hand over the table hard.

"Who posted that video? Have you figured that out?"

"No! The I.T. department people say that it's a fake profile and turns out that person is dead already."

The police officer laughed while Dr Krishna fumed. The officer couldn't believe what he heard.

"Ah, Dr Krishna! Looks like someone hates this hospital and purposely wanted to do some damage to its image."

"I do know that but who is this who has put me in such a trap? Once I catch hold of that person, I swear, I will kill that person's entire family!" Said Dr Krishna, angrily.

"Look you are a doctor, a high profile one. If someone is doing this, it means that they are attacking you. Chances are that they will do it again and if they succeed things will go really out of hand. I think you should change the rules of your hospital. The first thing is to ask all employees to avoid any form of social media during work hours. The second thing is to monitor how work is going everywhere. Once you find anyone suspicious, you can keep an eye on that person and catch them red hand."

"What about Dr Meenal? What should I do about her?"

"I already told you. Only blackmailing her can help you."

"Officer, I heard that but I even asked you how." Said Dr Krishna, raising his eyebrows.

The police officer sighed before looking man in front of him. He was now disappointed with this man, whom he thought was very smart.

"You seriously don't know? Haven't you been doing this almost your entire life?"

"I agree that I do it often but it is with people who are against me, not with someone who worked for me or with me. It was understanding between us. I provide her with those patients and she does the work. The money would be divided among me, Dr Meenal, and Dr Tasha."

"Right now everyone is wondering who did that test. I can stall everyone saying we are investigating everything but not beyond a week. After that, we will have to hold a conference and tell the media about it. Then we will go for court trials. Imagine if Dr Meenal speaks up about you and Dr Tasha in court. Everything will go against me, against us! Do you understand how big this issue is? One step wrong and both of us will go down and trust me, I won't take a risk unless I am convinced of her statement."

For a minute a silence fell in the room. Dr Krishna glared at the man in uniform who sat like a King opposite him.

"I hope you understand that I do know many things about you." Said Dr Krishna, trying his best to be calm.

"So you want both of us to get drowned together?" Asked the officer, raising his eyebrows.

Dr Krishna sighed loudly before bending his head and covering his face with both of his hands. The police officer rolled his eyes and got up from his chair frowning.

"I will be going back to my work now. Hope you understand my point. I will call you again to check and trust me if you fail to blackmail her successfully, I will have to tell the truth to the court."

"Okay, I will see what I can do here." Said Dr Krishna, before the officer turned and left the room.

A complete silence took place all over the room. The only odd that looked now was Dr Krishna's scowl. Everything in his head was a mess now and his heart full filled with immense anger. His hospital's image was now on the verge of getting destroyed. His reputation was at stake indirectly but there was one question that disturbed him.

"WHO HAD THE GUTS TO CHALLENGE HIM LIKE THIS?"
