(I... Can't actually find the script for the Ruan Mei mission, and I already completed it a while ago, sooooo... Well, the interaction will not match the mission at all... So I'll just be bullshitting dialogue.)
Poor Stelle can't catch a break, can she? Of course not! Why would she anyway...
World in and world out, everywhere, always wanting her to run around like an errand girl, helping Herta, Asta, Mister Yang, Bronya, Seele, Oleg, March! Everyone always needed something from her... She truly just wish to walk out into space and detonate like the stelleron she is sometimes.
Tho even if she is too nice to do any of that... The feeling was oh so alluring sometimes when things got hard.
But out of all her problems... Having one touchy person was enough... So explain to her why this woman she never met, only knew her by name because of Herta and Asta's ranting about how cool and intelligent and amazing she is, didn't even greet her before touching her all over her neck with a calculated look.
"What's with you people and touching me?" She said, only getting the barest of smiles back. It didn't look forced but the aura to her said that she really didn't care and just did it to be polite, if it wasn't needed she was sure this woman would have not given a damn about even frowning at her if such was what she wanted to do.
"Apologies. Touch helps me understand a person and almost... Download, let's say, all I need to know about their biology easier then just asking them as they wouldn't know. You'll be happy to know that you are healthy, optimally so even."
"You are not not beating the touchy allegations miss Run Mei." Stelle rubbed her neck, taking a sneaky step back out of touchy-touch range.
"It's Ruan Mei actually but it doesn't matter... Do you want to try a dessert?" Holding the plate she was holding to her.
Aaaand that's how Stelle lost hope in humanity, how a bite of desert caused her to talk about trashcans being her hobby instead of what she really wanted to say.
Nihl stood around a corner, back against the wall, left foot against it, barely peeking out, too far to hear anything of the discussion going down.
It had been two weeks since she sent those messages, only getting the read symbol next to the messages three days after the original sending and her creator had waited for Herta and Screwllum to extend an invitation to her to come to a meeting about the simulated universe... Herta really needs to stop telling her everything while running tests on her... It is bothersome to know things she doesn't care about.
The chamber of the emanator of had all but disintegrated and it was barely holding up to the stirring bug. The only reason she was up here instead of dealing with it down there was Herta had once again called for her... It could hold out for a few minutes without her surveillance.
This unwanted dull jealous always followed the living stelleron no matter how she didn't want to feel it.
She'd be unable to taste or smell it even, if her creator took the time to offer her a dessert, which she never would do because she is a failure. And here was this living stelleron first meeting her and getting a chitchat.
She pushed off the wall and walked off, having stuff to do instead of watching.
Ruan Mei stopped talking, having been telling Stelle about the little favor she wanted her to do without telling her about what it truly was beforehand, eyes looking to the left.
A mild wonder passing over her features but not noticed by Stelle.
She... Swears she saw something purple.
"Are you alright?" Stelle didn't notice the look but she sure noticed the silence.
"Yes, my apologies." Looking back at her. "I just thought I saw something... Familiar." She said, choosing her words carefully before glancing back to what she saw it.
