Clark hummed to himself as he flew through the watchtower, listening closely to a certain moody superhero vigilante. He couldn't believe they were finally dating. It took a marriage and the birth of a baby to bring Clark to the light.

He loved Lois and their little Jonathan, but he couldn't live in a lie anymore. Lois had been very understanding and supportive. He and Bruce had also been an on and off thing. Whenever Lois or Selina weren't around, they were screwing each other to make themselves feel better. Eventually, Clark realized that it wasn't because he missed Lois, but because he loved Bruce. And eventually, Bruce loved him too.

Clark peaked his head into Batman's quarters, pleased to find that his back was turned. He broke out into a huge smile and floated quietly over to the Dark Knight. He reached out and gently squeezed Bruce's shoulders, "Hey Love." Clark whispered into Bruce's ear.

Bruce grunted in response and continued to sift through papers. Clark gently massaged his shoulders, floating up a bit more to see what Bruce was reading. "Wow," he whistled. "Those numbers are high."

"Well," Batman growled, "When an alien in a red cape and tights smashes into a building and destroys a good chunk of it, I would say the repairs would be very pricey."

Clark laughed nervously. "Oh right. I forgot about that." He continued to rub Bruce's shoulders, but the tension wasn't leaving. He was definitely mad. This wasn't Bruce, it was definitely Batman.

"Lois is pissed." Batman continued. "She was going on a rage when I met her in the office. What a great way to start her first week as CEO of Daily Planet, wouldn't you think?"

"You're mad."

"I'm beyond mad."

"It wasn't even my fault!"

"Oh really?" Batman said. "Yeah, it was totally Bizarro's fault. He was just BEGGING to be slammed into a building with people inside." Batman shrugged Clark's hands away. "No, I'm not mad, I'm pissed off and tired. I thought I would be able to get a break but then your shit had to happen."

Clark sighed. "I'm sorry."

"Sorry doesn't cover it."

"Then what would?"

"I don't know."

Clark huffed. This was going nowhere. He wrapped his arms gently around Batman's waist, squeezing gently. "I'm sorry." He said, a pout at his lips. "I should have been more careful. I'll fly down during construction time and help out."

Superman felt some tension leave Bruce's body. It might not have been a lot, but even a little was a good sign. "Thank you." Bruce said. "I appreciate it."

Clark smiled, pleased to be in Bruce's good graces. "Can I take off your mask?" Clark grinned and started to pry the black mask off his lover's face. Bruce tried to move his head out of the way of Clark's grasp.

"Why are you being so weird?" Bruce questioned, but finally gave up and let Clark slide off the mask. He ran his hands through Bruce's greasy hair, a rare sight that usually meant Bruce hasn't been sleeping well. Clark could see the dark circles under Bruce's eyes a lot easier. "Stop," Bruce held up his hand. "I recognize that expression. I'm fine, you don't have to worry about me."

Clark hummed and leaned close to Bruce's ear. "I didn't say anything." He smiled and kissed Bruce's neck.

Bruce jumped back, already striking with his hands. Clark grabbed his wrists and held them tightly. "Bruce! What-?"

"What the fuck was that?" Bruce said, his face full of shock and a little bit of... blush?

Clark smiled and gently rubbed Bruce's wrists. "That's called affection," he teased.
"Ever heard of it?"

Bruce gave him a stern look. "You don't do that unless we're having sex. Are you suggesting we have sex while I'm still upset with you?"

Clark gasped. "I thought you loved me!" he grinned and leaned forward, making their noses brush against each other. "You can't be mad at me forever, Brucie."

"Hm." Bruce huffed. "We'll see about that." He tried to pull away but Clark held him tightly. "Kal, let me-"

"Admit it, you like it when I kiss you." Clark leaned in and kissed Bruce's neck again. "You like it when I'm affectionate with you, even though you act like you hate it." He kissed Bruce's neck until he got to his ear. "You like it when I sweet-talk you and you like it when I call you Babe."

Bruce tried again to pull away. "Clark, now's not the time-"

"Oh? So there is a time?" Clark teased.

"Let me go." Bruce growled.

Clark smiled and let him go. "I'm just saying, you like romantic stuff, you just won;t admit it. And you like it when I dominate you, when I make you scream my name, those expressions you make when I-"

Suddenly, Bruce grabbed the collar of his suit and brought him so close that their noses were almost touching. "You listen here, Kal." he growled, pulling out a tiny piece of kryptonite from his utility belt. It was in a container, so it wouldn't hurt Clark unless it was out. "Yes, maybe I do like those things. But I don't do those things for you to tease me. You think I scream? Have you ever heard yourself when I'm decking you down? Well, you will tonight." he smirked.

Clark swallowed. "Okay." He whispered huskily. Bruce smiled and kissed him passionately, putting the kryptonite away. "The things you do to me." Clark laughed when Bruce pulled away.

"That's nothing compared to the things you've done FOR me." Bruce smiled.
