oh my gosh guys I haven't posted on here in a while.

For ur reward here's a boat boys wedding, since I don't think I've ever seen one yet <3 also don't mind my lack of knowledge of weddings lmao.

Etho's palms were sweaty.

When did it get sweaty? Maybe it was because he was fidgeting with his hands for so long. His legs felt like jelly. Also, is it hot in here?

The wedding was about to start. He hasn't seen Joel in a while, so he only hopes he's doing alright. Then Etho sighed of realization and relief.

Joel.

Why was he nervous? Because of Joel. Because of his perfect, beautiful Joel. He was nervous because he didn't want to fuck what he had with Joel because he meant so much to him, so when he proposed and Joel said yes, of course Etho couldn't believe it.

Friends and family sat in front of him, talking, chattering, congratulating him, and so on. Etho fiddled with his fingers; every passing second felt like a minute, a minute feeling like an hour, and an hour feeling like a day.

"You nervous?"

A voice interrupted Etho's train of thought, causing him to turn to the owner of that voice, his best man, Tango Tek, one of his closest friends. He helped him through everything, most importantly through Joel. Tango helped Etho get Joel, confess to him, etc. so Etho felt like he had a right to be his best man.

"I mean, what am I talking about, of course you're nervous!" Tango chuckled softly. Etho chuckled as well. "You know, I remember you were also a nervous wreck when you were going to propose to Joel. And when you confessed to him. And when you spoke to him, and when you texted him, and when you..." Tango counted, Etho scoffed with a smile and pushed him a little. "I think I get it," Etho said, Tango giggling a bit.

"The point is: you've always been weak when it came to Joel. You're a strong person, and you are with Joel too, but I know you'll make it through. So don't be nervous," Tango smiled sweetly, Etho remaining silent. "You're right. Thank you Tango," Etho finally said, smiling back.

"For what?" Tango laughed, making a face. "For everything. Without you, I wouldn't even be with Joel. And like you said, every time I became a nervous wreck, you were there for me," Etho said, Tango waving him off. "Aww, don't mention it. When did you get so sappy?" Tango said jokingly, Etho rolling his eyes with a smile, until they both heard the organ playing, snapping them shut.

The audience also settled down, listening to the organ playing 'Here Comes the Bride'. Etho was reminded of his nervousness before, so he fixed his tie, and he saw the doors across the room open and out came Jimmy and Grian, the flower boys, holding a basket of flower petals and threw a handful of them everywhere, grinning proudly. They walked all the way up to Etho, gave him a smile and nod, then stood beside the ring bearer, Oli.

Etho took a few deep breaths, made a small glance to Tango, who gave a cheeky smile and thumbs up, then looked at the door again. Then Lizzie, Joel's bridesmaid, came out, smiled at everyone, looked at the door and nodded, the star of the show walking up to her side.

And there he was.

And there Joel was. Looking as beautiful as ever.

Etho doesn't get sappy like his friends did; he doesn't cry to Disney movies, he doesn't make inspirational speeches or pep talks, and he rarely gives thoughtful comments about his friends, like with Tango. But Etho wasn't exaggerating when he said Joel looked ethereal. Etho doesn't care as easily than his friends do, yet here he is, watching Joel.

Etho was in a simple black tuxedo, or whatever people call it these days. He kept his mask and fingerless gloves on and his hair was gelled so you can slightly tell he made an effort to look nicer. Other than that, he looked the same.

But Joel—oh, Joel looked magnificent. He wore a white suit and tie, his hair was brushed and looked a little fluffier than usual. He had a small veil clipped behind his hair and he also had a tail cape flowing behind him too. He had light makeup on, his eyeliner noticeable and held a bouquet of flowers. His iconic green streak stood out compared to the rest of his outfit.

Etho felt his face heat up when he saw Joel looking at him with a grinning face, eyes shining with love and affection. Etho would've dropped dead right then and there. Etho noticed Jimmy and Grian tearing up a bit, as well as Oli. Maybe they were blown away by Joel's beauty too, or maybe they were just thinking how far Joel has come.

Joel walked up the steps, Lizzie walking beside him. Finally, what felt like forever, Joel and Etho were standing face to face, excited to be bounded together forever. Joel still had that same happy, cheeky grin he always had, despite both of them being nervous as well.

The priest, none other than Joey Graceffa, smiled softly at both of them.

(No one knew if Joey was actually applicable to be their priest; he just showed them a certificate, which might be fake, and invited himself into the wedding, but it was okay since he was friends with Joel anyway).

[insert wedding stuff because I can't be bothered to write it]

Joey finally turned to Etho. "Etho Slab, do you take Joel Smallishbeans as your lawful husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?" Joey recited, Etho's lips trembling from excitement. "I do," he responded, taking off his mask to reveal his smile.

Joey turned to Joel with a smile. "Joel Smallishbeans, do you take Etho Slab as your lawful wife/husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?" Joey asked, Joel beaming with joy. "I do."

"Are there any objections?" Joey announced, not expecting any as Etho had that giddy feeling he did when he first kissed Joel. Joey smiled promptly. "Alright then. You may now kiss the bride—"

But they were already kissing.

Etho has kissed Joel so many times, more than he can count. But this one felt so much more better, so loving and sincere. He wanted to drown in Joel's lips forever because he just wanted to be with Joel.

He felt Joel smile in the kiss, so he did the same. A tear of joy pooled from his eye, wiping it when it was halfway down. The crowd exploded into cheers and joy, but Etho looked at Joel with an expression he's never had before.

"I love you, Eefo."

"I love you too, Joel."
