THE BALL PASSED THROUGH THE net, bouncing against the court floor. you grabbed the ball. "can't believe you scored suguru" shoko spoke as she leaned against a wall. "yeah, i'm shocked myself.." you replied, turning to your boyfriend. he was talking with satoru while playing basketball one on one. you smiled, shooting the ball. the ball hit the rim and bounced back at you, hitting you in the face.

suguru noticed and went over to help you, but you stopped him. you rubbed your nose. "and this is why i don't play sports.." you mutter, kicking the ball off to the side before sitting by shoko. "so, when are you getting married?" "sh-shoko!" your face went red at her statement. "you can't just say stuff like that!" "isn't it true though?" shoko asked.

you looked back over to suguru. everything was perfect with him now, why wouldn't it be if you got married? it'd be like a blissful and domestic life. maybe you'd get a cat-

"you want to take this outside, satoru?" you heard suguru ask as he summoned one of his curses. satoru took a glance at you. "with your partner watching? don't embarrass yourself; go alone!" he replied. you turned to shoko, only to see her gone. you ran over to them. "dream technique-!"

the gym door opened, revealing yaga. the three of you glanced at each other before starting to stretch. yeah, that's definitely not suspicious. "hello, yaga-sensei!" satoru greeted nonchalantly, a smile on his face as the three of you looked at him. "what're you three doing?" he questioned. "stretching! it helps to prevent injuries when you're exercising!" you replied.

"..uh-huh" yaga said, as if he didn't believe you. "anyways, i need to talk to the three of you. come with me" he said, now walking off. you all stopped your act and followed after your teacher.

"your goal is to escort the star plasma vessel to master tengen as he requested. this is very important, so no goofing off. you're our strongest students, so i trust that this isn't too hard of a mission?" yaga explained. "will there be people after the vessel?" you asked. "yes, numerous curse users, such as the star religious group and others" yaga replied. "now, are these directions clear to you three?" you all nodded in agreement before yaga allowed you to start your mission.

the three of you walked together. suguru's arm was around your shoulders. "am i seriously gonna be third wheeling this whole time?" satoru complained as he cracked open a soda. "ah, my bad.." you replied sheepishly, suddenly feeling guilty. this caused your boyfriend to chuckle. "what's funny?" "you're always apologizing and feeling bad over the smallest things, [nickname]. you care too much.." suguru explained, planting a kiss on your cheek. you giggled in response.

you all arrived at a building. "this is her location" you spoke. "n/n and i will go inside. you stay out here, satoru" suguru instructed. "alrighty. you better not be making out in there" satoru teased, a grin on his face. you rolled your eyes playfully as you followed suguru to the entrance.

once inside the elevator, he called satoru. he put the call on speaker so you could be included. "i still can't exactly understand why they chose us" you spoke. "because we're the strongest, duh!" satoru replied, his tone full of pride. "i mean, that makes sense!" you said, noticing suguru's disgusted expression. "yeah..satoru, we need to have this talk. you gotta humble yourself" "wait, what??"

the elevator doors opened and you both walked out, heading down the hall. "you can't just go around parading that you're the strongest. that'll only make you more of a target" suguru explained. "sounds like you're a hater, suguru" satoru replied. your boyfriend sighed. "nevermind, satoru. you're not hearing me.." he said.

you both stopped in front of a door. you rung the doorbell. "coming!" a voice spoke from inside.

BEEP!

suguru's eyes widened. he pulled you close as you were both encased inside of a ball. an explosion could be heard moments later. you were released from the ball, clearly shaken up. "you okay?" suguru asked, earning a nod from you. "i think the vessel is falling right now" satoru spoke. you both noticed this.

suguru shot multiple squids at the glass as you both leaped through it. you landed on his sting ray curse as the vessel was caught in suguru's arm. you looked back at the building, noticing someone inside. "ah, you're jujutsu sorcerers! hand over the vessel, or i'll kill you" he spoke. "he's from the curse user group Q!" you told suguru. "is that so?" he replied, now looking at the male. "come closer! i can't hear you from over there!" suguru joked, a grin on his face.

the sting ray flew through the already broken window, narrowingly missing the male. just as he got ready to attack, you used your technique. "drowsy spell!" you leapt off of the curse and grabbed the male's shoulder. he was instantly placed into a deep sleep, falling to the floor.

suguru placed the girl down on the couch before standing besides you. "nice work" "thanks. you think satoru's okay?" you asked. this caused him to chuckle. "his technique is overpowered..i'm sure he's fine" he replied. you nodded as you turned back to the curse user. "what should we do with him? he'll wake up in a bit."

a mischievous grin spread over your boyfriend's face. it was almost scary..
