When the three were at highcrest Ian and Friday got sick of Mel physiologically picking through every conversation they had with each other so they both started talking to each other using Italian, this bugged Melanie for a little while but she secretly learnt it on the sly so she could listen in. And lets just say that Ian may or may not of flirted with Friday in Italian😏😏. they only found out when Mel claimed that she was Friday's translator in book 9.😎
