It was Thursday night, and in honor of tradition Melanie and Friday had payed a visit to uncle Bernie's. They joined Ian and Bella in the lounge room.
"Hey" Ian smiled opening his arms for Friday to crawl into. Friday clambered over him.
"Hello" She whispered warping her arms around him and hugging into his chest. Ian rested his chin on her head. Friday closed her eyes and tried to go to sleep, focusing only on Ian's breathing pattern.
"Bella" Melanie sang, siting on the edge of her chair watching over the 4 year old who was highly engrossed in her Lego set. Bella looked up and grind when she saw Melanie.
"Bluey" Melanie held out her phone to her. Bella nodded and clambered onto Melanie's lap and swiped through Melanie's phone finding the ABC kids app.
"Oh! put it on the big screen so we can all watch it" Ian said tossing Mel the remote. Mel smiled and turned on her favorite episode (Sleepy time)
As soon a the theme song came on Friday shot up, she loved that blue dog.
"Sleepy Time, again" Friday asked.
Melanie smiled "It's so repeatable"
