Four years later
Kate smiled as she wrapped her arms around Lucy and they watched Avery run around Jane's backyard with Jane and Jesse's kids.
Lucy leaned into Kate's arms, letting her body relax, a dopey smile on her face.
Kai appeared with a little girl on his hip. "Kate, she wants you." He said softly.
After Lucy had agreed, Kai donated his sperm and helped Kate and Lucy have another baby.
Kate released Lucy and held her arms open for the little girl.
"Mama." The little girl mumbled, curling into Kate.
Kate kissed the little girl on the head.
"I'm going to go play with the kids." Kai said before making his way to the yard.
Lucy shifted beside Kate and smiled down at their youngest daughter.
Kate glanced up at him as he left then smiled down at her daughter.
The little girl leaned her head back, golden brown eyes locking on Kate.
"Mama." The little girl said, smiling.
"Hi pretty girl." Kate said softly, running her hand along the little girl's back.
When she was pregnant, she'd hoped for a boy, to name after Noah. But instead she got another girl. It took Lucy convincing her that they could name their daughter after Noah still.
The little girl shivered, giggling. She was as ticklish as Kai.
"Hi Noalani." Lucy said softly, reaching over to run her fingers through soft blonde curls.
The little girl looked at Lucy. "Mommy."
Smiling softly, Lucy leaned over to press a gentle kiss on Noalani's forehead.
Noalani held her arms open to Lucy.
Taking the little girl into her arms, Lucy held her close. "Want to go play with sissy?" She asked softly.
The little girl nodded her head eagerly.
Getting up, Lucy leaned down to kiss Kate before making her way out to the yard.
Kate smiled softly as she watched her wife.
Jane sat down beside Kate.
Looking to the side, Kate tilted her head. "Hey."
Jane smiled. "Hey, how's everything going?"
Kate grinned and glanced back towards Lucy and their kids. "Amazing." She said softly.
"I'm glad." Jane said with a wide smile.
The blonde's eyes followed Lucy as she chased their daughters with Kai. "I wish Noah was here to meet my family, to meet you guys."
"He is here, in your heart and memory." Jane said softly.
Kate looked back over at Jane. "I know, but he'll never know his nieces."
"Hey, he's watching over you." Jane said.
The blonde sighed softly and looked down. "I know, but it's not the same."
"I know." Jane said softly, reaching out to squeeze Kate's hand.
Kate sighed and focused her attention back on Lucy. A small smile crossed her face as she watched the NCIS agent chase their daughters.
Avery was giggling as she ran, hiding behind Kai while Noalani tried to get Jesse's oldest Gracie to hide her.
Lucy stopped abruptly. "Huh? Where did you go?" She said, looking around, pretending she couldn't see either of her daughters.
"Mama, I'm right here." Noalani called out from behind Gracie.
"Where? I can hear you but I can't see you." Lucy said, spinning in a circle.
Avery was laughing behind Kai before sharing a look with Noalani.
They both moved from the person they were hiding behind and pounced on Lucy.
"Ah." Lucy fell backwards onto the grass.
The girls dropped down on top of her, both giggling happily.
Kate could help but grin happily as she watched her wife and kids. This was her Ohana, this was where she was meant to be.
