It was hard with her being half-vampire and half-human, but he did it all. From every diaper change to her falling in love with every boy she met.
Just like her father, she was mean, could be cruel, and loved to play tricks on people. But just like her mother, she could be loving and charming, ready to die for those she loved.
She didn't need a daylight ring. She could survive off of human food but needed a little blood here and there to preserve her body. Like others, she could compel, but couldn't be compelled for some odd reason. The girl aged and grew, but they had a feeling it would stop when she reached a certain age. She didn't need an invitation to get into people's houses and had all the super strength and speed of a normal vampire.
But Miliani was just a tad fragile. She didn't heal as fast as other vamps, only if she drank blood and even then it was slow. Once she was accidentally stabbed during a training session with Alaric with a normal dagger, and it took her almost a full month to recover. She shuttered at the thought of a real stake. That fulfilled her father's need for her to know how to protect herself.
She found herself in a constant rotation of being surprised and attacked by her father and her history teacher. The worst part? Vampire blood didn't help heal her either.
She watched her Uncle Stefan lose it and helped bring him back. She helped them kill Vicki Donovan after her father turned her - a lecture that had been instilled in his brain. To be honest, she really did try to save Bonnie's grandmother, but she didn't know anything about magic to save her.
The betrayal that hit her when she realized why her father really came to Mystic Falls was almost suffocating, but she couldn't be mad at him as he looked so pathetic when he found out the truth. Although she did poison his entire supply of blood with vervain that he had to drink for an entire month, he learned his lesson about never lying to her again.
He did make it up to her by taking her to Disney World for her seventeenth birthday.
Through Stefan, she learned the whole truth about who Kathrine was to the two of them. It left her with a vile taste in her mouth and the urge to disfigure Elena's face - which she unfortunately held back on doing much to the doppelgänger's relief.
