i have miliani and klaus's interactions planned out to the point where i want to skip chapters but ugh.
Everyone groaned when Elena's phone went off with the ringtone she had set for Stefan. Bonnie was curled into Caroline while Miliani was between Caroline and Elena. Caroline reached over Miliani to push Elena out of the bed.
"Go away!" She complained, rolling back into Miliani.
"Unf!" Elena cried, glaring angrily at her blonde friend. She crawled across the floor and grabbed her phone, answering it. "Hello?"
The three girls flared at Elena with annoyed expressions. They still wanted to sleep. It was the first thing Bonnie and Miliani agreed on in a long time.
"Shhh," Bonnie complained.
"Elena!" Caroline snapped.
Miliani just threw a pillow at the girl.

Dressed in a blue pantsuit minus the jacket, and her hair twisted into a bun with some framing her face, Miliani made her way to Elijah and Carol. She smiled at people, ignoring the few who asked her why she couldn't have just worn a dress.
"Hello!" She cheered sliding up next to Elijah. His arm twitched as he refrained from wrapping it around her waist. She thanked a waiter who gave her a cup of tea.
Carol gave the girl a warm smile. "Have you spent much time in Richmond for your book? There's such a wealth of history there."
"No, I'm focusing mostly on the smaller regions of Virginia. Lots of research. Strictly academic," he smoothly lied. He even makes lies sound beautiful.
Carol laughed. "That's fascinating. Well, you are in good hands here. Miliani is failing her history classes," she joked as the girl put her hands under her chin and smiled.
Miliani's smile faltered a bit when she saw her father enter. She didn't care much for his conversation with Jenna, but what she did care about was the girl who walked over and kissed him on the lips.
Jenna looked as confused as Miliani felt as Damon sauntered up to them. She hoped he was just misplacing his feelings for Rose. "Dad."
"Damon."
"Carol."
Carol wrung her hands together. "What a surprise."
"Hi."
Despite them being friends, the whole exchange was weird. Especially when they kissed each other on the cheek. Miliani's heart warmed when he pulled her in for a tight hug. Things were tense but this meant they were going to get better.
"Come home tonight so we can talk," he murmured in her ear. She just nodded at him as they pulled back.
"Hi. Elijah, I want you to meet Damon Salvatore. His family is one of Mystic Falls' founding families. Miliani here is his daughter," Carol said, introducing the three of them.
