Wedding Day

"Ma I'm so nervous and nauseous", Liyah gripped Mary's hand as her makeup artist added the last touches to her face.

"Honey I know, I was nervous walking down the aisle with your father but trust me when you meet him at the altar all of that will go away".

"I still can't believe you and my father are married, that's crazy". Liyah laughed thinking about how quick Mary and Dwayne got together once he moved to Houston with them.

"Don't I know, he wasted no time. Your dad is definitely the charmer, I love that the most about him". Liyah couldn't help but smile as she watched Mary drift off into deep thought.

She loved the fact that her dad and Mary were together, it's like they completed one another. It was like her and Jah, you can tell they were meant for each other.

Rubbing her protruding belly Liyah tried to ease her nervousness, she couldn't understand why she was so nervous. She's been preparing for this since he proposed so why were her nerves so bad now?

"She's kicking?". Mary asked noticing Liyah gently rubbing her stomach.

"Nah I'm just trying to calm down before she gets hyper, it's like she can tell when I'm under stress or overwhelmed. Her kicks come full force". Liyah talked about their new addition that would be added to the family soon.

Liyah was currently six months pregnant with their second child, Jah had been talking about having another baby and Liyah finally gave in to it. She was excited, she felt like their family was complete. She had her boy as well as a girl, she couldn't have been more happy.

"Okay you're all done girl". Tati held up a mirror so Liyah could see her face.

"Tati you're trying to make me cry! I look good". Liyah fanned her eyes trying to not ruin the makeup that Tati spent forty-five minutes doing.

Lately she hasn't been feeling like herself, it seemed as if baby girl was draining her of not only her energy but beauty as well. Her face had been breaking out like crazy which was rare, Liyah barely had period bumps so to have this much acne depressed her.

"Please don't ma'am your makeup is flawless!". Tati patted away a few tears Liyah had shed with the makeup brush.

"Okay let's get you into your dress, the ceremony is about to start soon". Mary says checking the time on her phone.

Helping Liyah off of the makeup chair Mary quickly walked her over to the dressing room so she could get dressed.

"I wonder how's Jonah holding up?". She thought out loud as she began to undress.
