02. 𝙃𝙚 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙨

Ellie stood in the office as she looked to Warren. She was in shock and she couldn't believe that she was seeing him there after all of this time

"What aren't you glad to see me?" Warren asked as he looked to her

"What are you doing here? I thought that you were in jail" she asked as she crossed her arms over her chest. She was less than impressed and didn't know what to think as she looked to him

"I was. I was set up and we both know that. I haven't stopped thinking about you. I go to it after five years. I tried to prove my innocence but you and I both know who set me up" Warren said as Ellie looked to him and sighed

She was fully aware of what had happened and how it was Sam. She knew how Sam had set warren up to get him away from her and from Maddie before he found out over the pregnancy. She knew that if he was given the chance that he would of been a great dad and she hated that she felt as if she had been the one to rob that from him

"I'm sorry I'm sorry for everything" Ellie said as warren looked to her and smiled

"Oh princess I never blamed you. I think that you know that" he said as he placed a hand in her cheek. She felt herself melt against his touch. She knew how much that she had missed him and she knew how had that everything was

She knew how she had tried to be there for Maddie as best as she could be legally she knew that Maddie wasn't hers. She only gave birth to her and she knew that warren was back and how it would change everything

"In here now. U missed you. I have thought I'd see you again I'm back for you. I want us to make all of this work" Warren said as Ellie smiled

"So do I" she said as he leant in and kissed her. She pulled him to her and kissed him back as she felt herself melt into the kiss. She knew how everything seemed to make sense with her when she was with warren

Ellie got back to the lomax house and smiled as she saw Maddie and looked to her and smiled "hey are you enjoying your new school. Do they have cheer?" Ellie asked as Maddie nodded

"Yeah I don't know if I like this place it's a lot I don't know" Maddie said as Ellie sat next to her and smiled

"I know it's hard. I know it's a lot and I know that you hate it here but it will just be a lot to try use to that is all. You will be making friends and before you know it this place will be like home. I know it's a lot" Ellie said as Sam walked in

"Maddie haven't you got homework" sam said as Maddie rolled her eyes

"No"

"Go and tidy your room then I need to talk to Ellie" Sam said as Maddie looked to Ellie who smiled as Maddie walked off as Sam looked to Ellie. Ellie rolled her eyes at her

"You don't need to speak to her like that you know. She's a good kid and you speak to her like she is garbage dint think that she doesn't deserve it. You hold her responsible for what I did. She's my kid, it's not her fault I got pregnant so young"

"I need to keep an eye on her so she doesn't end up the same way you did knocked up by a local criminal with nothing to offer herself" she said as Ellie flared

"You know that you can't keep this hidden. If you don't start being nicer to Ellie then I will tell Maddie the truth and I will take her away and when it comes to nothing to offer. I am training to be a doctor so I don't know what that has to do with anything"

"Maddie is my daughter" Sam said

"No she is mine and warrens daughter. You tricked me into all of this and in the end I still think that she will be better off if she knew the truth. Your not the only who almost died giving birth and she was worth it in the end"

Ellie walked thrift the village as she saw Maddie and Warren as they stood talking. She didn't know what to think but seeing them together and talking it made her feel uneasy and she didn't like it. She knew how neither of them knew that they were father and daughter and it made her feel so anxious over it all

"Maddie"

"What?" Maddie said as she looked to Ellie

"Your going to be late"

"Jeez el your not my mum" Maddie said as warren aww the look of hurt on her face as Maddie said that

"Go"

Maddie walked off as Ellie looked to Warren

"So you have another sister" he said

"Looks that way doesn't it"

"When was your mum pregnant" he asked

"About the time that you went to jail" Ellie said as he looked to her

"Strange"

"What?" Ellie asked

"That they named their daughter Maddie. You always said what you wanted to make our daughter that" Warren said as the two of them held a look

"Just a coincidence that's all" Ellie said as she went to walk off as he grabbed her arm and the two of them held a look

"Is there something that you want to tell me" he asked

"Like what?"

"Like your sister if that's what she really is looks just like you and has the name you really wanted to name our child one day" he said as she looked to him

"What are you trying to say"

"You know what I am saying Eleanor"

Ellie looked to him she frowned. She knew that she couldn't keep this from him but could she find w way to tell Warren the truth over what had happened.
