18. 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙙

Ellie sat in the police station. She knew that she didn't know what to think but all that she knew was that her parents had been in an accident and her dad was dead and her mum was hanging on. Ellie sat in the interview room. She felt numb. She knew that she had a difficult relationship with her parents with the whole Maddie situation but they were still her parents and even if that weren't getting on she knew that and loved them

Ellie sat in the room and looked as an detective walked in

"Ellie thank you for coming in" he said as she looked to him

"Like I had a choice. I don't know what it is that you think I know but I don't know anything"

"You have a complex relationship with your parents I believe in the past few months that things hadn't been easy. I heard they they were trying to t your daughter, although they had raised her"

"Maddie is my daughter. Nothing will change that I was a kid who was put in an impossible situation but Maddie is my daughter and she has always been mine and I was prepared to go to court. I guess that I am the only one out of my siblings that you have brought in here and questions so what is together ideas of it all?" Ellie asked

"Did you mess with the breaks to cause your parents accident" the detective asked as Ellie looked to him

"Are you for real? You think I killed my dad and tried to kill my mum. You are fucking deranged" Ellie said

"Is that a yes or a no?" He asked as Ellie looked to him

"It's a no. Someone tried to kill my parents and it wasn't me. Desire how things were I could never go that far"

"Yet your boyfriend would"

"Oh you are unbelievable I did not do this. Find someone else to accuse as I never did this and neither did he" Ellie said. She was annoyed by the whole situation

Warren stood in the kitchen as he tried to find out what was going on with Ellie. He knew that she had been at the police station for hours to answer a few questions and it had been a few hours. He looked to see Maddie as she walked in

"Shout you be at school?" He asked as he looked to his daughter

"I was worried over mum. Is she still at the police station. Why do they have her? She wouldn't do this would she?" Maddie asked as warren looked to her and frowned

"No. Your mum may have a temper but she'd never do this. She's a good person, she's not a killer. She's not me. She's better than me, too good sometimes" Warren said as Maddie looked to her and smiled

"You and mum were always meant to be I mean you made me and I am amazing. You have nothing to worry over. It will be okay" Maddie said as warren smiled

"Come here" he said as he pulled Maddie into a hug and smiled

"I am so proud to call you my little girl and it will be okay and I know that your mum will be okay. I know that your comforted over your grandad and your gran who is fighting for her life but all of it will be okay" he said as Maddie looked to him

"There's something that you need to know...the day of the accident. I saw mum, she came in and I saw her washing blood off of her hands. I am not saying that she did it but something happened" Maddie said as warren looked to her

"You don't need to worry I'll sort of okay" he said as Maddie walked off to her room. Warren knew he didn't to see Ellie

Ellie sat in the police station. She felt as if she had been answering questions for hours. She looked to see Warren as he walked into the room

"What are you doing here?" She asked as she walked over to him as he pulled her into his arms and hugged her

"I Wanted to see how you are. I know it's not easy. I mean you just lost your dad and your mum is in the hospital. Maddie says she's okay but i think it's effected her too" he said as she looked to him and sighed

"I can't believe any of this is happening. I can't even get my head around it and I trapped here as they question me over every little detail of my life, over my relationship with my parents, with you and over things with Maddie. They're acting as if I messed Roth the car and that's why it crashed. My dad is dead and I want to be with my sisters. I want to see my mum In case she does. All of this is too much" Ellie said as she started to cry

Warren pulled her into his arms as he held her close as she cried. He knew how strong that Ellie was but he knew all that had happened was not easy and he knew that she wasn't coping at all. Warren knew just how worried over Ellie that he really was

Ellie sat in the room "how long are you going to keep me here? I want to see my mum in case something happens" she said as the detective looked to her

"That's not going to happen. Eleanor lomax I am charging you on the suspicion of the death of Danny lomax, and the attempted murder of Samantha loans anything that you say will be given as evidence which will used in court"

"No..I didn't do this..I could never" Ellie sobbed. Ellie knew that she had nothing to do with her parents death and she knew how she was being set up but could she find a way to clear her name?
