05. "𝙔𝙤𝙪'𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙚"

Ellie stood in warrens apartment with him "what are you thinking" he asked as she looked to him and sighed

"I am thinking over what to do" she said

"And what are you thinking" he asked as she looked to him and sighed

"I am thinking that we need to find a way to stop them taking Maddie. I know what you might think but I know is that they took my little girl from me. When she was born it was so traumatic but I held her in my arms and it was worth it. It was just us, me and my Madeline. I named her. You were gone cause of my mother and I just wanted to be her mum and they tricked me into signing her own and it changed everything and I can't let them take her away from me, not again. From us" she said as he looked to her and nodded

"What are you thinking" he asked as she handed him a key

"You're going to steak her passport. Leave mine where it is. As you got into the house there's a set of drawers in the bottom drawer here's a tin with the passports. Take hers. Take it and they can't take her. Leave me or it will look suspicious" she said

"And why can't you do it" he asked

"Are you afraid my mum will catch you? It was a different matter when she almost caught you in my bed. What's wrong warren scared are we?" She asked as she stepped towards him

"Oh princess I am not scared" he said as she nodded

"I need you to do it as I will be the first person accused"

"I'll do it but what do I get out of it" he asked as she raised an eyebrow at him

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me"

"And what is that you sound like"

"You. I want you" he said as the two of them held a look

Ellie got back to the lomax house as she saw Maddie "you want go for dinner my treat? Is everyone out" Ellie asked as Maddie nodded

"Yeah"

"So how about it? Dinner ill get you a cheese pizza"

"Sure" Maddie said as Ellie smiled as she noticed how pale that Maddie was as she walked to her

"Hey are you okay you look peaky" Ellie asked as Maddie looked to her and smiled

"I'm okay Ellie you don't need to worry I need food come on" Maddie said as Ellie looked to her and frowned. Ellie knew Maddie and she could tell that she was off and she wasn't herself. She knew how Maddie was her daughter and she was doing all that she could to keep her safe

She knew that she needed to get her out of the house so warren could steal her passport and Ellie was worried. Ellie could see just how pale and ill that Maddie looked

Warren walked into the lomax house. He walked over to the set of drawers. He opened the drawer and flicked through the passports and found Maddie's. He saw how much younger she was on it and smiled as it made him realise what he had missed

He slipped the passport in his pocket as he picked up a photo of Maddie on the side and smiled. He knew how none of it was easy. He picked up a family picture as he looked to see the way Ellie was looking at Maddie on it. He knew that Ellie wasn't going to cope with any of this for much longer and he knew he'd do whatever he could to keep her safe
