Somewhere, Hart woke up up to a big blue sky. He was then approached by his brother Kite.

Kite: Hey, Hart, look. I brought your favorite, little brother, hot chocolate. Go on, take a sip.

Hart: But where, are we?

Kite: Don't you recognize this cottage?Think back, we lived here when we were growing up.

Hart: We did? I can't remember.

Kite: Well, I remember how much happier you were back then. Nothing could get you down. You were always laughing and telling jokes But something happened, kid. You changed. And I know who did this to you.

The virtual reality vision shut down and the two were back at Heartland tower.

Mr. Heartland: Oh. So sorry to interrupt this brotherly reunion. But I'm afraid it's time for Hart to get back to work.

Kite: He needs to rest. You're pushing Hart way too far. Don't you see, you have to take it easy on him.

Mr. Heartland: That may be. All the same, Dr. Faker insists that Hart keeps working.

Kite: He won't!

Hart: Stay out of this, Kite. The young boy got out of bed. This mission is way too important for me to give up now.

Kite: But Hart...

Hart: Don't worry about me Kite. I'm the only one with the power to save our world, Kite. I want to do whatever I can to help.

Kite: I know.

Mr. Heartland: It's settled then! Dr. Faker will be thrilled to know you're back on the job, Hart! And I'm sure Kite will get back to work tracking down the Numbers we need. Isn't that right? You do want your brother to get better, don't you? Heartland and Hart leave Kite alone.

Mizuki: That was hard to watch. Mizuki spoke up.

Kite: Huh?! Who's there? A holographic image of Mizuki appeared. What are you doing here?

Mizuki: Hopefully, I'm here to help you?

Kite: What?

Mizuki: It's hard watching this. You and Hart going through this heartache. I feel so bad for the kid.

Kite: Hart is none of your business. He said harshly.

Mizuki: You know, you were never this moody back in the day.

Kite: What are you taking about? Have we met?

Mizuki: Does this remind you of anything? She holds up a card which caused Kite to go wide eyed in shock. Listen, Kite, let's work together. You, me, Kai and Yuma. I'm sure if you explain it to them they'll understand, in fact I know they'll help you.

Kite: I don't need your help or anyone's!

Mizuki: But, Kite...

Kite: But nothing. Kite walks to the elevator. And when I get back you better be gone! He leaves.

Mizuki: Oh, Kite.

Meanwhile, Kai decides to pay a visit to the Tsukumo residence.

Yuma: Whoa! Too cool! Yuma got too excited and fell from his hammock narrowly missing Kai who moved outta the way. Ow, that wasn't too cool.

Kai: You okay, Yuma?

Yuma: Yeah. Anyway, so you're sayin' there's a full-size airship parked inside my key?

Astral: Correct.

Yuma: Whoa. That must be one tight squeeze.

Astral: Clearly that key comes from a place far different from this world. When your parents gave it to you, they may have realized it contained many mysteries.
