Basically the Zexal anime. However, my oc will duel some of Yuma's duels instead. There will be a few other significant changes. Still I hope that this story will be enjoyable to read.
As the duel between Yuma and Charlie was about to begin, at a nearby hospital a young girl was staring out the window.
Nurse: May, it's almost time for your surgery.
May: ....The child seemed concerned by the thought of it.
Nurse: Don't worry. You're just gonna take a nap and when you wake up, it'll be done.

The cousins were inside trying to bust down the door to the controls. However they were having trouble getting in.

Tori: Yuma...Please be careful!
Charlie: Alright, Yuma. It's time to let the games begin.
Yuma: First move's mine! Here goes - I draw! I place a monster facedown in DEF!Then I end my turn with a facedown card!
Astral 'Is Charlie going to once again rely on luck?'
Charlie: My turn, I draw. I activate the Take a Chance Spell card!

Charlie: Pass me the dice. Take a Chance allows me to roll a die once per turn and if it comes up a six? My current LP's are multiplied by five! Any other number, and my LP's return to where they were before I activated the Spell.
Yuma: Heh, well, it's not like it's easy to roll a six or anything.
Astral: And do not forget that he rolled a six five times in a row during his last duel. The odds of rolling six sixes in a row are 46,646 to one.
Charlie: Watch closely.
