The quite familiar pain engulfed your already fuzzy mind sending your nerves quite an alarming signal as your eyes pry itself open. Your ears were ringing mildly as your sense of sight returned to your body, you definitely could tell that feeling anything at this moment but pain would be much better.
As your hand passes through the soft texture underneath you, you paused. A bed? Is it a bed? You winced as you willed your body upwards on the soft mattress underneath you, criss crossing your legs as you took the time to examine your wings, tears welding in your eye sockets.
