Real Life

The conference was pretty long but overall pretty fun, tomorrow they had the red carpet which was exciting and Julie was just ready to give them a real chance, leave Dacre in the past, and not worry about that anymore but she also didn't want people commenting on her relationship with Tom and ruining it. There was a lot at risk but she was willing to take that jump for them. As the limo drove them back to their hotel there was a comfortable silence. She was seated near Tom and Josh.

Tom turned to face Julie, breaking the silence. "How are you feeling?" He asked curiously know that earlier she had been pretty nervous

"Definitely better thank you" She smiled softly, not holding eye contact like he did. She always got nervous with his gorgeous blue eyes staring into her soul.

"I do think we should pitch Suzanne the idea of the First Lady book so they can turn it into a movie" He chuckled

Julie laughs softly and smirked "Is this your way of saying you want to spend more time with me?"

Tom grinned, feeling his face heat up but he wasn't going to deny it "Yes but regardless we'll spend time together"

She didn't think he'd agree so she was caught off guard. She laughs softly and tried playing it off "Hmm im not so sure Birmingham boy" she teased

Tom scoffed, acting offended "why not my company is incredible"

"Hey I don't disagree but I mightttt go on tour soon" She smiled happily since he was the only one who knew at the moment

His eyes lit up "oh shit really? Congratulations" he pulled her into a hug. "How long will you be on tour for?"

She hugged back, smiling softly "I'm not sure yet but most likely 7 months, 57 shows" She explained

He nodded "Im definitely getting tickets then" he smiled softly, wanting to support her and honestly he wanted to see her perform. Her and Rachel were so talented he was always in awe of them but for Juliette it seemed to happen over anything. It was ridiculous.

"Ughh I can't help but feel nervous and excited. What if no one shows up? It would be a flop like Jlos tour- no shade of course"

He chuckled and shook his head "these are just nerves you're Juliette Carrington everyone is going to show up. You have an amazing fanbase and you have me of course your number one fan" he looked down at their hands and put his over hers, giving it a gentle but reassuring squeeze

Juliette knew he was right. She had a big fanbase and her concert tickets weren't so pricey. She knew it was just nerves but she knew it must be a universal scare about no one showing up. "You're right you're the only fan that matters as long as you're there then I'll be okay" She said playing along but really did hope he'd come see her. His support would be amazing. As she felt his hand she felt her cheeks turning a light pink, good thing she was wearing blush. She looked down at their hands and then back into his eyes, unsure if she should hold the eye contact.

Tom for the first time broke eye contact, sure that if they kept it up he'd probably kiss her right there and then but he didn't want to in front of the others, not because he was ashamed but because he wanted it to be private moment they could both cherish.
