Today was a pretty important day for Juliette Madison Carrington. She just didn't know it yet. Julie had submitted her audition tape for the Hunger Games prequel. She loved The Hunger Games and adored Francis Lawrence who was the director for all four movies and for this newest one. She had auditioned a while ago for the role of Adeline Sinclair, a rich girl from the capital who would be a mentor in the 10th Hunger Games and is later on known in the movie series as the wife of President Coriolanus Snow. She knew better than to get excited when auditioning but how could she not be excited when she knew she might be a part of something big like a Hunger Games movie. Juliette was currently in her recording studio with her producer, working on some new songs for her new album that she had teased her fans with. She looks over at Nick (the producer) and sighed "I don't know... I hate this bridge.." She sighs and leans back on the chair, starting to get annoyed. The last album she put out was mainly what she had been feeling after her breakup with Dacre. She wanted something new, something more upbeat and not just sad because she wasn't sad anymore. She needed that album where it's just her having fun and enjoying life again but nothing came to mind
Nick looked at his star and smiled a bit, giving her hand a reassuring squeeze "We don't need to come up with anything if you aren't feeling it or can't seem to feel motivated. You've been working pretty hard in your films, give yourself a break"
Juliette knew he was right but had a fear of letting down her fans because some were already worried she'd prefer her acting career better which she didn't. She felt passionate about both of them but acting was like her new little toy and experiment. "You're right... I just don't want to disappoint the fans but hey you're right Ari's fans have been waiting for a new album for a while now and they're still waiting so you're right I'll be good"
Nick was about to reply to what she said but their conversation got interrupted by Julie's acting agent who called her. She sighed "This might be important hold up, sorry" She said and answered, honestly expecting her to just say that she didn't get the role but she could've emailed or texted her so this might be important.
"Jules! You will not believe who just called asking to meet up with you-" Angie said excitedly
Julie's eyes widened, not wanting to get too excited but also knowing who this might be "Shut up!" She said excitedly "Francis Lawrence?!" She looked over at Nick who seemed to be on the edge of his seat like her.
Angie nodded "Yes! He didn't say you're casted but he wants to meet up with you and talk about this project!"
Julie knew how the industry was and how they could take you through this long process only to not cast you. She took a deep breath and nodded, running her fingers through her hair "Okay! Okay yes, tell him and his team yes. Where does he want to meet?"
"Okay, so I know you don't like to leave LA and your mom but he wants to meet you in Poland which is where they will be shooting this. He wants to talk about the character, your audition, possibilities and maybe even have you do a chemistry read. This would be a huge once-in-a-lifetime opportunity"
The possibility of leaving her mom for months didn't sound so ideal because they had a close relationship but Angie was right. This could do a lot for her career and just getting this opportunity is one that she'd never forgive herself for passing up. She finally spoke up "Okay.. get back to them please and let me know what they say, all of those other things don't matter I want this role and I will do anything for it to go through"
"Okay! Great! I'll get back to you after Mr. Lawrence replies okay? Have a good day and you're doing so good girl. Byeee"
She laughed a bit and nodded "Thank you Angie and have a good day too goodbye" She hung up and looked over at Nick with a shocked look "You cannot say anything I swear" She teased "This is so surreal. I literally can't believe it!" She said excitedly.
Nick chuckles "I won't say anything don't you worry, I hope it all goes through well. I would love to see you on the big screen with amazing big actors. Don't worry about music just have fun"
Julie listened to him and knew he was right. She nods and smiles happily "You're right I should just enjoy it and hope for the best. I hope whoever is in the cast is fun and hot. Wait- I probably shouldn't get too excited because she's right this was just a maybe" She smiles, not being able to stop smiling at the possibility of actually getting the role.
