Excited for the gig, Ana and I went into the venue, we weren't too early and it was a little chilly outside that evening so we didn't wait there. We were a little nervous though because we were both on the guest list and it was a first for the both of us.

"Hello lasses, two entries for you?" The guy at the front desk asked us. He seemed to be at our age, it was pretty usual at the Madchester for teens and young adults to work there to get more pocket money I think. He had straight long black hair which he had put together in a low messy bun.

"Uhm actually, we should be on the guest list," Ana said and smiled shyly.

"Well let me see then," he smiled back and started to look through some papers and notes, then he abruptly rose his eyebrows. "You are Ana right?" He asked and pointed at Ana. "Because I think I've seen you at a workshop at school." Ana nodded.

"But youuu?" The long haired guy looked at me and narrowed his eyebrows while now pointing at me. "I think I need your name, sorry."

"It's Angela, I think Lennon put me on the list." I felt hot, so hot like I was sweating a swimming pool as I grew more nervous every second it took the guy longer to find my name on the list.

"Ahhh then you're Angie? Because Lennon has put three names down and the other two seem to be his parents," he looked at me questioningly while already getting two of these paper wristbands ready.

I nodded, feeling the heat in my cheeks as I blushed. "That's me."

"I wish you twos lots of fun!" The black head attached the neon colour bands on our wrists and waved us bye as we walked through the hallway.

"Aye Ella I was scared there for a second," Ana laughed and nudged my shoulder. "He put you as Angie, that's so cute!"

"Yea I know I nearly pissed myself," I joked and linked arms with her only to let go a second later because I saw Lennon coming in our direction. When he stood before us he pulled me in for a hug, holding me tightly for two seconds before hugging Ana quickly, way quicker than me though.

"Hey gals, happy to see you here," Lennon said and winked at me before his phone started to ring and his expression dropped. "Sorry, I have to take this one, later Angie?" As if to promise me that he would see me later again he held out his hand where he was wearing my ring and squeezed my hand quickly before walking away.

Worried I looked to Ana. "I hope he's okay, his face expression said it all," I murmured and she looked at me sympathetically.

"I'm sure he'll be okay, let's go say hi to the others now, shall we?" Ana smiled and linked arms with me again to lead me to the Floyd and the rest of the band without Lennon. They greeted us all happily and chatted with us for a bit until it was time to then to head backstage for their performance. A wave with emotions hit me, I was so fucking grateful for these people which were my friends now. Couple months back I would've never believed it.

Then the lights went out and people scooted a bit closer in the front, where Ana and I had managed to get a spot. The Madchester wasn't that big, maybe 200 people fit in here or so but not more. The only thing we could see on stage were some blue lights that shone through behind the drum set. Soon there were shadows of Chris who sat behind his drums and then Floyd and Ace appeared with their guitar and bass. Lennon was the last to appear, flying V hanging off his body like a trophy. The lights slowly went on, shining blue and purple and I couldn't help but stare at Lennon. He looked so good, with a white tanktop and black jeans which fitted him perfectly. If I didn't already like him before, I would've fallen in love right that second.

Lennon started playing the intro to their one of their own songs, I didn't know the names because they rarely said them. Soon the rest of the band joined in and everyone let loose.
