Jalandhar, Punjab, India

Maninder tied the turban on Shubhveer's head and Hiral added the kalgi on his pagg (turban).

The kalgi on the turban, reflects the royalty.

The kalgi was worn by kings and royalty in the past, the turban style of groom's represents his status and commitment of taking care of the bride as a king.

Manheer, the sister of the groom, added the kohl (surma) in his eyes.

Kohl is a symbol to ward off evil-spirits and bring in courage and strength.

Vaani and Mridula, the sister-in-laws of the groom, added the sehra on his pagg (turban).

It is a symbol of groom's dignity and respect.

And also that reflects his marital status.

Sahib, his uncle handed over the talwaar (sword) in his hands.

The Talwaar reflects honour, strength and protection, that the groom would protect the bride, forever.

It also reflects that the groom will always be faithful and loyal towards his bride.

Hiral added oil on the gates of the haveli and then kept a coconut near to the tire of Shubh's car.

The little Sahaaye, Manheer's son was dressed up in cute shervaani representing as the Sarvaala of Shubh, the groom.

The sound of drums and trumpets was heard everywhere.

He took the baby prince in his hands and sat in the car, and as the car proceeded forward, the coconut broke with the pressure of the car.

They went towards the Gurudwara Sahib.

Each member individually prayed to the lord and then sat down.

Eagerly waiting for would-be Mrs. Gill.

The soft jingling of anklets filled the air, and all eyes turned to gaze upon her.

She walked with grace and poise, her eyes cast downward, exuding a sense of modesty.

The Kaleeras hung on her wrist made little jingling sounds while she moved.

Kaleera is a traditional Punjabi wedding accessory worn by the bride.

It is a decorative, umbrella-shaped ornament that hangs from the bride's wrist or arm, typically on the left side.

Kaleera is usually made of metal, such as gold or silver, and is adorned with intricate designs, patterns, and sometimes precious stones.

Amrit, Arjun, Anshika, and Abhiraaj held the vibrant Phulkari dupatta above her head, creating a stunning canopy.

For a moment, Shubh and Anaya's eyes met, and she quickly looked away, a blush rising to her cheeks, revealing a hint of shy delight.

Shubhveer's pov

As Anaya walked down the aisle, her red lehnga shimmering in the light, my heart skipped a beat.

I was taken aback by her breathtaking beauty, my eyes fixed on her radiant face and graceful movements.

The delicate features of her face, mixed with the vibrant red of her lehnga, left me spellbound.

As she sat beside me, her presence filled the air with an undeniable charm, making my heart race with excitement and joy.
