I-

I did it.

I gave him a dose of his own medicine.

I can see him awake and sitting on the chair while being justt-

quiet.

I tried calling him by his name 3-4 times, and he just said the words...

"Hi Sohneyo"

"Oh, my wife, I love you."

"You are so pretty."

I nervously tap on my feet and bit my nails because I have no idea what I'm gonna do after this. So I sit infront of him against the dining table on the chair and he looks at me.

"Shubh?" I tap on his hand.

"Yes my love.." he says.

"Are you okay?" A question I should not be asking, but I ask.

"Never been better." he said with a chuckle.

"I am with my wife. What more do I need? And that too when my wife is the person I love the most-"

"Okay stop"

Recalling the video he had shown me in that dark room where I was speaking and he was asking me questions, I find this as my way of knowing what actually is happening.

"Tell me about the injection Shubh." I demand.

"When given this drug, you speak the truth and be true yourself. And after sometime you sleep. And when you wake up, you forget everything." he said in one go.

"I am sad I won't remember all of this when I wake up." he says just like a baby while pouting and taking my hand in his and brining it to his face and hugging it like a kitten.

"I love you, you know.."

I felt like smiling at the way he said that line. But I keep my attitude and further ask.

"Why did you drug me?"

he looked up and frowned.

"I kinda had started liking you" he whispered

"So?"

"But- nahi maine ni bolna yaar aage" he said looking in my eyes with sad eyes.

"Kyu nahi bolna Shubh. What the hell did you do with me? Why did you-"

He put his finger on my lips and said.."Shhh.."

"I-I did not do anything wrong to you Sohneyo, I never touched you without your permission ever. You remember are first kiss? You wanted to kiss so I kissed you. Otherwise I would never do anything-"

"THEN WHY THOSES INJECTIONS SHUBH!" I shouted.

Loosing my patience.

"Aap mazaak udaaoge..main nahi batat-" And I glared at him.

"Arey theek theek, naraz kyu hote ho yaar." he said and hugged my hand again.
