I enter the battleground Marshall had put together. I slice off the bandage, and heal the wound. The pups are there to witness the fight, except for Ella. I know it is a fight, because he has a look of determination.

"OKAY! I want you to not hold back!" He commands, ready to feel pain beyond imaginable.

"Okay." I get ready, and charge. He dodges swiftly.

"Is that the best you got?"

     "..."

     "What, you're scared?"

"Opinions unbiased. Shut up and be quiet. I'm trying to make you understand."

     "What?"

"This is what you're up against. Powerful, powerless, leaving with the upset. Here to stay by the way, I turned around." I dashed behind him. "In a room full of mirrors, I figured it out."

I struck him in the back in the back. "I had to take leave of my senses, to draw my own conclusion. Had to swing for the fences, to find my own solution."

I jumped up and rained ONI Cannons upon him."In a world gone mad, it's all so sad, look what we've become. WELCOME TO THE AGE OF THE NEXT EVOLUTION!"

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" Marshall yelled as his paws glowed red. He cast fireballs, yet I dodged them. "I have the advantage."

"Really?" I replied, activating the crystal in my prosthetic. My paws glowed a dark red. "I've evolved since last time."

     "What!? How!?"

I smiled menacingly, a red bolt of lighting striking the ground. "Itching the fight, so bring on the riot. We are all invited to the dance. Raise a glass now for the damned."

Marshall fired fireballs as I used lightning. One hit him in the chest. "Terrorize, terrified, praying for your stupid life. Wide awake, dominate, I figured it out."

I struck him in the face. "In a room full of mirrors, there's only one way out..."

We fought with malicious brutality. I was bit a few times. I clawed my way out. Marshall was still standing, luckily. He was bleeding drastically. I was also bleeding. It was a contest to see who would fall first.

     Everest's POV

"Marshall!" I yelled out as I watch from the stands. Marshall's body falls as Lucifer stands. He walks to Marshall, and lifts him off the ground. He carries him to the exit. I run after them, tears streaming down my eyes.

I saw Lucifer healing Marshall while crying. Marshall gets up as if he was not just brutally beaten. Miss Dalmatian looked at Marshall, and then dragged Lucifer by the ear. I ran and kissed Marshall.

"Why did you hurt my son!?" Miss Dalmatian screamed, her voice echoing through the hall. We ran to eavesdrop.

"I didn't mean to..." Lucifer stammered. He was weeping.

"YOU DIDN'T MEAN TO!?" She exclaimed at the top of her lungs. She slapped him across the face.

"Please don't hurt me..." Lucifer whimpered, "don't use the bat... please..."

     "The bat?"

"The baseball bat. Isn't that what mothers do?"

We all looked shocked as Lucifer revealed this truth. He had a genuine look of fear on his face. Marshall put his arm around the Wolfdog.

"That... She wasn't...  Why would she do that?" Miss Dalmatian said as she hugged both of them. "Your father was there to protect you, right?"

"No... I never talked to him. His form of punishment was..." Lucifer said, looking down.

"What?" We all exclaimed at the same time.

     "...shotgun."

We looked at him. He looked scared. Really scared.

"Mom..." Marshall spoke up. "What are you thinking?"

"Lucifer... would you like to go on a walk with me?" She asked Lucifer. He nodded, and they walked down the hall. "My name is Roxy, by the way."
