Facing Farewells

[After dinner, Meribel opens the door to Luisa's room, finding her in the middle of her lifting routine.  Luisa startles at the sound, but relaxes upon seeing Meribel.  Meribel steps in and expresses her concern, prompting Luisa to weekl attempt to play it off.  However, Meribel insists she sits down on the bed.]

Meribel: How are you holding up, Luisa?

[Luisa sighs and confesses that she overheard their parents talking.  They believe Isabella might not last the night.  Meribel, shocked by the news, moves to comfort her sister, but instead finds herself pulled into a tight hug.  Despite the difficulty in breathing, Meribel remains silent until Luisa releases her.  There's a brief moment of silence before Luisa begins to share a memory of her and Isabella from when Meribel was too young to remember.]

[In the kitchen, Augestene finds Julieta cooking, despite the late hour.  As he approaches, Julieta briefly looks up to kiss his cheek before returning to her task.  Augestene, sensing her distraction, gently turns her to face him.  As they lock eyes, the weight of the situation sinks in, and Julieta looks exhausted, leaning into her husband's embrace.]

[In Pepa's room, Antonio excitedly recounts meeting Pietro, Roberto's pet monkey, to his parents.  Pepa's smile is partly forced, but partly genuine, finding solace in her son's joy amidst the grim situation.]

[Outside, Bruno bids good night to Roberto, but the weight of the situation is evident.  Roberto senses Bruno's turmoil and pulls him into a hug, offering silent support to his boyfriend.]

[Meanwhile, Doloris, visibly anxious, talks with Camello in his room.  She suddenly stops, listening for a few seconds before continuing.  Camello understands that she's listening to ensure she can still hear Isabella breathing, and offers comfort by placing a hand on hers.]

[In her room, Abuela sighs, looking down at a locket containing a small picture of Padro.  She speaks softly to him, acknowledging Isabella's imminent departure, and asking him to take care of her.]
