Otis came into the room looking between me and Billy in a questioning manner then cleared his throat, adjusting his posture.
"William, Neil wishes to speak with you"I pushed away from Billy, knocking him in the shoulder earning a scoff from behind, and left the room going down the various hallways covered in passed down family heirlooms.
Once I got to the main entryway of the Palace, one of the guards stopped me. "Miss Brittana Mrs Hargrove wanted me to let you know dinner is at 6 and to pass it on to your brother" I nodded, rolling my eyes as I walked away because once again I would have to cover for the future king.

6 pm rolled around and I was sat at the dinner table with Neil and Susan, picking at roasted duck with mashed potatoes.
"What's wrong dear?" I looked up from my plate to see the concerned look at my mother's face as she chewed her meal.
"Oh, nothing" I mumbled and went to cut into my duck but Neil slammed his hand onto the table startling everyone, as the dining room was so big it echoed.
"Where is Willam?" Neil hissed shooting me a knowing look.
I sat there feeling my whole body tense up and I let out a slow breath. "He's off at the stables tonight with Mr. Hagan he's getting ready for his polo match"
Neil hummed and let it go, looking off towards Susan to discuss something.
I sighed in relief but to my surprise, I could see Billy taking off from the palace from the big floor-to-ceiling dining room windows.
"What is it Brittana?"
I cleared my throat and stood up at the table. "Can I be excused? I am not feeling very well"
Neil hummed in disappointment and I just looked towards Susan. "Can I?" I asked quietly, holding the edge of the table.
"Yes you're excused don't make this a habit"
I walked off away from the table getting sideways looks from the guards and palace workers. The sounds of my shoes clicking filled the dining room until I left.
I headed up to my room passing by the ancient photos of old people glaring at me, sometimes I feel like they're judging me.
I wish you were here right now
My heart fluttered and I froze in the middle of my bedroom. Was Billy trying to use telepathy with me right now?
Why is that?
I'm at a concert and it reminds me of you
I simply ignored him and got myself undressed for the evening, putting on my favorite blue silk pajama set with slippers. Once undressed, I walked out of my bedroom and across the palace to my favorite place. The old library.
It held relics and ancient books that were written thousands of years ago. Neil was quite the collector even though he was a prick.
"Going somewhere?" Otis quipped from beside me scaring the ever-living daylights out of me. I turned to face him with my hand on the door handle of the library.
"Just the usual going to get lost in the library" Otis hummed in response with a smirk on his face and motioned for me to enter the library.
"Good night Miss Hargrove I will see you in the morning" Otis stoically said as always.
I nodded as I walked into the library and jolted as the huge metal door shut from behind. As I turned to face the room, I looked around at the shelving, it was floor to ceiling filled with books and scripture. It was dark but the sconces that hung above the fireplace illuminated the room nicely.
"You're always in here," A voice said from behind and I turned around to see my brother leaning up against the shelving ladder with an eyebrow raised. He was always so good at being stealthy.
"You should be in here more since you're going to be King someday" I spat playfully walking away to go sit in the chair near the window looking out onto the back lawn. The silence built between us and I sighed, looking over my shoulder at Billy. "Did you enjoy the concert?"
"Yes, I did" Billy tutted with a smile across his face and he ran a hand through his hair.
"Did anyone suspect you?" I asked cautiously, surveying him from head to toe. Billy smirked, that knowing smirk he always did.
"No. Never. come on you don't trust me?" Billy questioned as he pushed himself off the ladder to walk towards me.
"I just worry" I looked down at my feet, chewing on my lip nervously, and gasped as I felt a hand run through my hair and I looked up to meet blue eyes, glistening with playfulness.
"You should come next time the whole time I was like I wish my sister was here"
"Did Neil ask?" Billy questioned with his hand still in my hair, he was massaging my head softly and I cranked my neck in pleasure.
"Yeah, but he believed me tomorrow mention polo with Tommy" I instructed and Billy laughed softly. We stood there looking at each other for a few moments before Billy closed the gap between us.
Thank you
You can't keep sneaking out
I whimpered as I felt a hand run across my breast and down the front of my shirt. Billy licked across my lips and I opened my mouth, moaning as he slid his tongue across mine. He groaned in response and went to kneel in front of me, spreading my legs apart as I sat in the chair.
"Billy.." I breathed out against his lips and sighed as I felt a hand come up to press against the front of my pajama shorts.
