Y/n's head snapped towards the door when it got swung open and her blood ran cold when she saw the person standing at the door. Her eyes filled with shock and horror watching his whole body covered sweat, cuts, bruises, and most importantly his hands... They were completely painted with blood.
He was looking brutal with those blood coated hands from which that liquid was still dripping and tainting the clean white marble floor. Panick rose inside her, watching that blood. She was terrified even with the thought of what if, that blood belonged to that certain someone. That thought alone trembled her whole body in fright. Her heart raced as her blurry eyes took in every detail of his brutal appearance.
His eyes were bloodshot red like he was inebriated. His hair was a mess, few locks sticking to his forehead and dense brows. His right cheekbone had a small cut. His face had no expression as his hooded gaze was piercing directly into her soul.
Her heart sunk when he closed the door behind him, without averting his gaze from her and started taking his heavy steps towards her, causing her to immediately stand up from the floor.
Her heart pounded against her chest like it would jump out any second as she started taking her steps backward, but that didn't make that treacherous havoc in human form to stop from coming towards her like it wanted to swallow her whole existence and engulf her in his sinistic darkness.
Y/n's breathing hitched, a shiver ran down her spin when her back hit the cold wall. Her heart dropped as she looked at him petrified. Their eyes locked as he step by step eliminated all the distance between them and stood before her towering her shivering self with his tall menacing frame.
Y/n's eyes unintentionally trailed at his chest and her heart numbed watching blood patches on his black clothes. Her fingertip trembled in sheer terror as her eyes again become blurry. Her gaze trailed up his neck. His sweat-soaked body and glass cuts on his skin made her extremely worried, anxious and terrified.
What had happened?
That question brimmed in her blurry eyes as she slowly took her head up and locked gaze with his reddened, hooded eyes.
His bloodthirsty gaze was peering at her intensely. She held her breath when he roamed his gaze on her entire face for a while and then stopped at her soft shimmering lips which were quivering in fear.
Y/n's palms clutched the hem of her nightgown watching his darkened eyes staring at her lips like he wanted to consume and devour them hungrily. Her shaking turned noticeable but still his gaze didn't avert from her lips like he was possessed by some kind of spell.
Her body froze and heart dropped to her stomach when he started leaning towards her face. She tightly fisted her palms and in pure instinct, shut her eyes unable to move or even manage to breake out any voice from her tightened throat. Tightly shutting her eyes, she braced herself for the torture of her tormentor but nothing. Nothing like that happened.
