The morning sky glowed with golden and pinkish rays of rising sun. After the cream bleached hospital wall, the park offered a healthy environment for the patients there. A scent of morning freshness lingered in the cool summer breeze as she inhaled deeply.

Y/n watched the sun slowly rise from the horizon while sitting on one of the benches not far from the main building. There were only a few people and two- three children playing nearby.

It had been over a week since that night and nearly three weeks since he was admitted here. He was healing slowly. The accident was severe, plus he was badly injured, so his recovery was taking time. But in these days, nothing changed between them. Things had been going on the way it were going before that night.

These weeks had been difficult for her even though she never let it show on her face. Taehyung wouldn't even spare a small glance at her, nor did he talk to her. And when she said he didn't talk, he had gone completely mute when she was around.

Y/n glanced at her phone and noticed it was already 8:30 am. She had woken up early as usual while Taehyung was still asleep. So, she freshened up and came here to enjoy the open air.

With a soft sigh, she got up from her seat and decided to head back and wake him up. Just when she stood up from her bench, she felt something bump against her leg.

Looking down at the ground, Y/n saw a small football. She raised her head and saw a few children, more like toddlers, standing at a short distance away. They all were looking at her with gleaming eyes, hands on their waist, huffing cutely due to exhaustion. One of them smiled and waved at her.

"Noona, ball please," He shouted, causing Y/n to smile and nod slightly. She looked at the ball and attempted to kick it, but suddenly her head felt light nearly waightless, and her vision blurred. Her surroundings started spinning, which made her grab the arm of the bench as her body fell back down onto the hard surface. Black dots were forming in front of her eyes as her head started spining. She clutched her head and closed her eyes to steady herself.

After a moment, Y/n battled her lashes to clear her vision and then opened her eyes. She gently rubbed her temples, trying to ease the sudden pain. She had been experiencing this kind of dizziness and lightheadness frequently. May be because of the stress and all those messed up things happening in her life.

She sighed and looked up only to see the kids surrounding her and eyeing her in confusion yet fear.

"Are you okay?" One of the boys asked, staring at her with round eyes, gulping hugely.

"I didn't hit you. He kicked that ball," the boy immediately shoved the blame on his friend's head whose eyes widened, and he shook his head vigourously.

"No-no! I didn't. He did," the boy pointed at another boy, who also widened his eyes inhaling sharply. He, too, opened his mouth, pointing at something behind him.

"No, I didn't. The puppy hit the ball." Y/n looked back, but there was no puppy. The kids gulped, visibly nervous as she looked at them.

Y/n couldn't help but heartily giggle at their cuteness. She patted one of their cheek and looked at them warmly.

"It's not your fault, and I'm fine now, okay?" She said, making them all sigh simultaneously. They were all too adorable that Y/n felt like hugging and squeezing them all in her arms.

"Now go, or the puppy will kick the ball and hurt someone again," She said poking their stomachs playfully with her fist making them giggle as the kids picked up their ball and Y/n too rose up from her seat feeling a bit better now.
