Daphne Tett was born in 2000, not 1982, but she was still raised on the music her parents listened to and let it inspire her through the writing of The Invisible World alongside the numerous philosophical questions raised by The Amazing World of Gumball. She went to Trinity University, which she graduated in 2023 with a major in English and a minor in new media. She currently lives in New Orleans with her Nintendo Switch and her collection of plushies, and she works as an elementary school teacher. She spends her free time playing Animal Crossing and writing her next book. She used to work for her school newspaper in high school and college, so she's a journalist just like Jack.
