A/n: The longest chapter so far, ya all. Get ready and comfortable, cause there's A LOT to uncover 🍿
Also idk if you've noticed but by the end of each chapter there's a meme! I'm also prob. going to do a meme chapter somewhere in the middle of the book.

   Everything happened in a flash.

The ground beneath Y/n suddenly gave way.
...
Acute pain hit the girl's shoulder, striking every nerve in her body.
...
She hits the ground, her head spinning.
...
Her vision blurred, the ringing noise taking over her ears.
...
The only noise she heard was that of her own heartbeat.
...
'Close your eyes,' a little voice in her head seemed to whisper. And she did.

But right when her mind began to lose consciousness, in the distance she saw three blurry figures, but that's not what caught her attention... there, just little further ahead in the bushes... pair of eyes... watching her... like a predator their prey... the bushes shifted a bit and the eyes once again disappeared... Then, she passed out.

Y/n groaned, slowly opening her eyes. She felt lightheaded. Her ears were still ringing but the sound began to slowly fade away. A few black and white dots danced in her vision, before her eyes completely adjusted to the glim light. But all she saw was dark gray. The girl slowly lifted her head.

It appeared that she was in a small bedroom with grey walls. A lamp on a table next to the bed softly illuminating warm light. There weren't any windows, which meant she couldn't be sure of her location. 

  'And also means less escape options,' Y/n thought. There was a door though, that gave the girl more reassurance. As Y/n looked around the room a little more, she spotted something in the far corner. Y/n couldn't see much but as she peeked from her covers, she saw a familiar wolf curled on the floor.

    As if Snowfluff felt her looking at him, his head shot up. Y/n smiled at him. He looked up at her, giving her an excited look. He stood up, before running off into the slightly opened doorway with a round of very loud barks.

    Y/n clenched her head at the loud noise.

She tried standing up, immediately regretting it. She felt as if her body was on fire, every part of her was tense and radiating with pain. Especially the shoulder. She collapsed back onto the bed.
  She couldn't stand up. Or escape if necessary for that matter. Not in this condition. Now all she could do was wait for whatever was going to happen next.

      Some time passed when Y/n finally heard Snowfluff again. Only this time two or three human voices were heard as well. Startled, Y/n carefully lifted herself against the headboard of the bed to have a better view of the doorway.

    Footsteps stopped next to her door and a moment later the door opened. The girl squinted at the sudden light that came from what she assumed was a hallway. The door closed as someone came in and the room was thrown back to it's previous darkness.
