We cut to the exterior of the top floor for Braniac's apartment. This then transitions inside to where he is at his desk. Braniac happily counts his money and reads over various documents whilst singing proudly. He goes through the documents with enthusiasm and energy, wiggling his fingers reading the papers He takes a sip from his cup, places it down, and then presses his grey control box when the bleep sounds when an arrival comes. The voice of the receptionist comes from the communicator.
Braniac:
Yes?
Receptionist:
We have your colleagues downstairs with one extra guest to see you.
Braniac:
One extra guest?
Receptionist:
Yes, sir. Shall I send them straight up to you?
Braniac:
Very well.
He then presses a switch ending the call.
Ah. The authorities. Soon they shall be mine. Very soon now.
Various Cruisers are parked around the area on the ground hiding away from detection of the Braniac's big corporate building. Hiding away from sight are the officers, armed and ready to go in for an attack. We see Brogan and Castle waiting with their guns ready. They see the double agents go into the building along with Jack Haldane in casual clothing. The other officers, as means of deception, also wear casual clothing for a change. Brogan operates a portable radio.
Lieutenant Brogan:
Alright. Castle and I take the front entrance. Took, the west. Romek, from the North, and Orrin, from the East.
Officer Castle:
It's a long way up to the top floor, Brogan. We may have to wait a while.
Lieutenant Brogan:
Not with the other elevators. We wait for the perfect timing.
We then cut to Officer Took, Romek, and Orrin hiding in their strategic areas with their guns poised for action. The double agents with Haldane enter a lift. It shuts. The level sees the lift rise up towards one hundred floors.
Officer Haldane:
This might take a while.
Colber:
Sure does.
We cut to the outside of the building again.
Lieutenant Brogan:
They'll be moving up now. Time we made for it. Let's go.
The officers begin to move in. Up on the top floor with the Braniac, the double agents enter along with Haldane. They greet the Braniac at his desk reading his documents.
Braniac:
Boys? How did you escape? I thought they were still interrogating you. And I thought you two Officers had been captured also.
Officer 1:
We thought so as well. But we got out. With this guy. He's supposed to be looking after us.
Colber:
This is Officer Jack Haldane of the force, sir. A senior Officer who has made up a good story to get us out.
Braniac:
That easily?
Officer 2:
They think we're still back there in a cell.
