The day Jim turns himself into a half-troll

     Azara's POV

I woke up early today and left the house as quickly as possible to avoid Merlin. From all perspectives, I'm going to put my next words nicely, he has to be the most self-centered verbally abusive asshole I have ever encountered. My perspective is the only one that matters right now.

As a way to get fifty feet away from that man, I decided to head to the flower shop before anyone else. This has to be the most relaxing and bone-chilling morning I've had in a while, the bone-chilling part comes from Morgana trying to bring the Eternal Night. Oh well.

The dim sun warms the flower fields as I water them and admire their beauty. Never in my times in history have I ever even thought of having this glimmer of happiness. But nature truly is the most powerful magic. With its calm but resilient force, no wizard or enchantress could snuff it out. Personally, my favorite flowers are rare and quite difficult to find especially the ones that are pure magic. Ever since I was a little girl nature has always intrigued and calmed me in a way nothing could. And its beauty is unmatched.

I guess if no one is here yet I can read my book while I wait. I sit beneath an old oak tree to enjoy its shade. This tree has to be at least 300 years old. A magnificent tree indeed. I sit there for at least an hour before someone shows up at the shop. It's a nervous-looking man fidgeting in place as he waits for someone to help him. I did put out the open sign.

"Good morning Sir." I make myself known politely "What can I help you with?"

"I not really sure" he confesses "I was looking for a present for my wife, and she adores flowers and I know her favorites but I almost always get her those so I wanted to surprise her with something new," he explains with a little hesitance.

"That's nice of you. Well if you need any ideas I do happen to have a book of all the flowers we grow here and what they mean if you want to take a look." I offer. Maybe that will help him a little with his decision.

"That seems like a good idea. Thank you!" he excitedly proclaims as I turn to look for the book. I hand it to him and he thanks me again when he sits on a stool to review his options. I wait patiently as he makes a decision.

"Alright I think I know what I want now." he smiles brightly.

It's been a pretty great morning so far. I'm glad I don't have to see that old bucket.

'Ring ring' My phone rings in my back pocket. I jinxed myself. I sigh in frustration and answer the phone.

"Hello? This better be important." I state rather annoyed at the fact that I feel my pleasant morning is about to be ruined.

"Aza? Mom's missing! or at least we think so, no one can find her!" Jim desperately calls from the other side of the line. "You have to come home and help me look for her! Please!"

"Calm down, I'll be right there!" I say as I grab all my things and run towards our house. I rethinking the choice of walking to work today! I'm running as fast as my legs can take me as I pass people on the sidewalk desperately trying to get home. I'm hoping that for some miracle Hex is home, I could use his help finding Mom.

I finally reach my home and see Claire and Toby walking out they wave and yell that Jim is still inside as they portal away. I walk closer to the house and try to open the door but it's locked. Why would Jim lock the door if he knew I was coming? Somethings wrong.
