(Sunny finally get to see her friends again and yes Kestrel got Sunny cough up about the rainforest's situation and how the prophecy is fake and FYI Starflight is only half blind in this AU and this is a week after Kestrel showed up to the den anyways enjoy)

(on one pov)

"we're here" Thorn informed Sunny as they land "Where is it?" she asked confused "Well as I had to inform your father it's important to keep something like this hidden so he put an enchantment on the tunnel to make sure it stayed hidden" Thorn explained.

"unless you know the passcode *clears through* desert-tide" Thorn stated and the sand covering the tunnel suddenly cleared in an explosion of sand leaving the younger sand/night hybrid baffled "this leads to the heart of the rainforest." Thorn started "Once on the other side take a right you'll find rainwings sooner or later" Thorn informed her daughter "Right" Sunny responded.

"Beetle" Thorn said gently "yes mom" Sunny responded "You don't have to do this you know that right?" Thorn asked her daughter "Of course I know that" Sunny stated "But if I don't who will?" she asked her mother who only smiled in return.

"Be careful *she pulled her daughter into a hug* that bleeding heart of yours will put you in a lot of unwinnable situations if your not" Thorn stated "I know" was all Sunny said.

*Sunny managed to pull herself out of her mother's embrace* "bye mom, I see you later" she called rushing into the tunnel Thorn just watched as she ran "I know" she muttered fondly.

(Sunny pov)

I woke up my vision blurry and head fuzzy "what happened?" I muttered.

"Oh good your awake" someone said and I tried to look at them.

"Ya know Queen Glory had a fuss when you came in" they continued 'Queen Glory? Moons Kestrel wasn't lying' I realized as they told someone else to go inform Glory that I was awake.

-----

Luckily the sleeping darters fully wore off soon unluckily they wore off when my.. friends burst in "Sunny why in all the moons are you injured?" was one in the sea of questions they thrown at me  'how do they expect me to answer with them giving me no room to talk' I questioned.

To be honest I zoned out and started fiddling with the leaf bed I was on as they continued to shout and talk over each other.

Eventually the shouting stopped when I noticed I looked up to see everyone looking at me confused and worried "You done?" I inquired blankly.

"Sunny are you okay because you've kind of been unresponsive" Starflight asked "I'm fine" I answered his question "I just didn't see a point in talking as I would have only have been drowned out like I always am" I stated.

"we don't" Tsunami tried to defend herself but I honestly wasn't having it "you do" I interrupted irritated "you always talk over me and ignore my opinions" I notified them.

"but we" Clay started "left me out of anything remotely important" I finished "Oh come on name one time we didn't consider your opinion" Tsunami challenged.

*I got up and moved to stand in front of her and chuckled* 'challenge accepted' I thought.

"Just one?" I asked with a chuckle locking eyes with Tsunami who shuttered back with primal fear 'that look in her eyes' Tsunami thought.

"Find I'll humor you" I stated 'moons this feels good to finally let out' I thought but didn't say and I loved the fact that I was scaring not only Tsunami but everyone in the room the few rainwing healers where a pale green the color also present on Glory despite her best efforts though I didn't like seeing them scared I didn't care.

"How about our crappy excuse for an escape" I offered with a smile and waited to see which one would be bravest.

(on one pov)

The smile Sunny wore was nothing short of predatory as she waited to pounce on the poor soul foolish enough to speak or try to leave which just so happened to be Glory after she mentally scolded herself for being scared of Sunny 'of all dragons' a decision she would soon regret.

"Sunny" Glory started earning her the full undivided attention of the predator behind Sunny's eyes 'get yourself together' she thought 'It's Sunny for moons sake' "the sky light was to small for any of us to fit" Glory stated watching Sunny's every move "Yes it was too small for any of you to fit" Sunny agreed "But as you've all seemingly forgotten I am the smallest and nimblest one here" Sunny stated "So actually I could fit through the sky light" she continued.

"I know that because I had been going though and watching the sunset for years" she informed them with a silent pause.

Then for a moment Starflight forgot that he was a spineless coward as he asked "Than why didn't you tell us?" he immediately regretted it as Sunny looked at him "Well Starflight" Sunny said threateningly and approached him as he made himself smaller.

Fatespeaker for her part tried to stand in between them "Move   now" Sunny growled and she  crumbled out of the way.

"Now Starflight I would have happily shared that piece of information if you all weren't so dead set on poorly keeping it a secret" Sunny informed him his eye filled with fear later she'll ask what happened later but right now she was ripping them a new one "And I mean poorly I honestly listened in on all of those talks" she boosted.

Everyone was shocked about that silent that stretched on for moons knows how long.

"S-Sunny" Clay stuttered "Is there something wrong I-I mean this seems completely out of character for you" Clay stated.

Sunny haven proven her point was making her leave when she turned bored "No Clay I just decided that I was tired of acting like my opinion doesn't matter and I'm just speaking my mind" Sunny informed them "and you might as well get use to it because this is a permanent change."

But she stopped at the door and stated "And for the record I only came back because it's the right thing to do not because of any of you" with that she left.

(Sunny ripping everyone a new one and making them piss themselves by *insert cringe username*)
