(this chapter will be me bring Kestrel, Peril, and Sky together why? because I believe Kestrel deserved a happy ending now enjoy)

(Peril pov)

 'Should I really do this?' Peril thought 'yes?... but she what's Clay dead.. but she's the only one who likes me' Peril debated.

 A scream broke me out of my thoughts as I snapped my head up to the sound it was a scavenger falling and a sandwing trying to catch said scavenger 'well that explains way it sounds weird.'

(Wren pov)

 The human was cough by the sandwing as Sky flew down to the human, sandwing, and,.. skywing? 'Why's there a skywing here?' I thought rather confused.

 When we landed the sandwing was scolding who just looked annoyed "I mean what if that was a dragonet what would you do then?" she scolded "The same thing" was the skywing's answer 'Is she heartless' I questioned to myself.

 "What's wrong with you?" the sandwing questioned "Better them have there neck snapped than the alternative" the skywing offered "What alternative getting saved?" the sandwing persisted I was invested in the answer too.

 As if it in respond she dug her talons into the sand and grabbed a small pile that started... melting.

 Fear froze my form 'she melted sand in a matter of seconds what would happed if she used it on another'

(no one pov)

 Sky jumped back harshly with a yep when he noticed he was standing on the red hot molten glass Wren was knocked off and hit her head on a piece of cooled glass knocking her out while also gaining everyone's attention.

 Peril looked at where the male skywing was standing and her eyes widened at the molten glass but more surprising was the fact that he wasn't burned which surprised him too.

 'he's/I'm fire proof' they all thought *Sky cautiously touched the red hot glass* "what?" Sky asked "how are you not burning?" Serious asked "I don't know" he answered "Wren?" he asked than looked around franticly before spotting Wren knocked out "Wren!" Sky yelled beginning to gently shake her "Sky?" Wren asked waking up.

(Kestrel pov)

(in this au sunny talked a little with peril while being held captive)

 "Is that Peril?" Sunny asked me and Thorn who was leading us to the tunnel. We looked to see my daughter and another skywing "ya" I responded "Let's go check on her and don't act like you don't miss her I bet you've been worried sick about her" Sunny teased 'it's good she's finally talking normally.. well it was different than before but she's at least more honest' I thought "alright" I responded as we changed direction.

 "hello again" Sunny greeted "Sunny?" Peril unsure she got it right "Ya" she responded "and I brought your mother too" "Hey" Peril stated "Hello.. and who is this?" I asked in my usual monotone voice though to those experienced enough there was a kinder undertone than usual.

 "Oh this is Sky" she answered pointing the skywing next to her "H-hi" he said weakly.

 "Wait I actually need to ask you something" Peril stated "And that would be?" I questioned 'what does she want to ask about' I thought hopping that it wasn't anything to bad Peril took a deep breath 'that means it's bad' I thought bracing for the worst as she stood in front of me looking up to meet my eyes she hesitated before saying before asking "What exactly happened to my brother that night?"

 I looked away 'stupid, how could you, what monster kills their own dragonet' that and more ran through my head as I looked at my talons unable to meet my daughter's eyes 'I'm a terrible mother' I thought but forced myself to speak "W-When Scarlet offered the ultimatum I... I throw him in the river.. I wasn't entirely sure if it'd actually do the job but.. I couldn't bring myself to.. see the body after I killed him."

 The was a pause "So the stories line up" Peril muttered walking over to Sky "Did you go looking for him after she went back on her word" a voice asked but I didn't check to see who "yes.. I hoped that the river hadn't killed him.. but I never found the body" I answered.

 "Well that would explain why Sky is fire proof" they said followed by a pause.

 "Excuse me I know off topic but is that scavenger talking?" Thorn asked breaking the silence I looked at the scavenger on Sky's shoulder "Ya but me talking isn't the current topic" the scavenger stated "the sassy scavenger is Wren" Peril introduced.

 "But you know what this means" she stated "what" Kestrel asked "you failed at killing your son" Wren explained.

 I took a moment to process "Wait are you saying?" I didn't finish not getting my hopes up "If we're right than Sky here is my brother" Peril stated beginning to hug Sky "I mean our stories line up and we even saw you that day too, so Sky being your son make sense" Wren explained.

 'I didn't kill him' I thought looking Sky over but I noticed a scare on his through it was a wobble line going from the back of the left side across to the right 'that's where I picked him up' I thought but before my thought could spiral any further Sky approached wrapping his wings around me saying "Thanks for trying" hesitantly I wrapped my wings around him protectively as if trying to shield him from the world and we stayed like that for a minute.

 "I think we should be getting back" I stated hesitantly letting go of my son "No I should be getting back" Sunny stated "You should stay here and get to know your son and daughter more" She finished "what" I asked "Oh don't act like that isn't what you want" Thorn agreed "I mean you thought your dragonets were dead for years and you just got reunited with them you really should at least get to know them" Thorn added "The other four are most likely going to die without someone with commonsense there" I argued "Didn't you say that I had commonsense" Sunny deflected "fine" I stated with a sigh, I was happy but I wasn't going to show it.

 "Great" Sunny barked "well every one coming with us better get flying because we got to get going" Wren stated "Well byeeee" Sunny called as they began flew off.

 "Wait one last question that just popped into my mind" Peril stated "what" I asked.

 "Did you name us before we got separated" she inquired "Yes" I stated "So what did you name them" Wren inquired curious 'still wired that she can talk I'll have to ask about it later' "Ember and Wildfire" I informed them gesturing to them with the respective name.

 "Wait so my hatching name is wildfire" Peril asked "yes" I stated.

 "I love that name.. you what from now on I'll go by my hatching name" she boosted "Ok Wildfire why you going by that" Wren asked the newly name Wildfire 'the name does suit her better that Peril ever did' I thought "One because it helps me rid myself of Scarlet, two Peril makes dragons see me a curtain way, three I just like it better, and four it's the name my mother gave to me" she listed and I totally didn't have a smile.

(yes I had to change the name and Wildfire is the perfect name for her but 1263 words a little longer than expected)
