"I didn't crash the plane. The plane crashed."
"I didn't crash the plane. You were operating the plane with the remote control and then it crashed."
"It was fucking windy."
"Come on, man."
"You're stoned and you're driving?"
"Yeah, the pot balances it out. The pot brings you back up."
"That's why I smoke it. If I'm going to be drinking, then I'll smoke it."
"It does."
"That's a medical fact."
"It was proven on the Science Network."
"Honey, just watch the road."
"I can't see shit."
My mom broke free from my families bickering about a stupid remote plane crashing and turned to me, "I saw you talking to somebody cute!"
"He was nice." My dad spoke.
"Yeah, who was that?" Someone else spoke up.
I look out the window, "He was just a boy."

I wake up in my brand new pajamas, tangled in my comforter, with a strong headache.
I get dressed for the day and walk to my car. There's this big dent mark along the side of it, I don't remember how it got there; I'm a very safe driver. I look around for a potential culprit but I give up.

I wait by the train station to go to work when I get this urge inside of me, and I don't know why but I just make a run for it. I run to the Montauk station.
Montauk train now boarding on Track B. All aboard.
At the last second, I make it inside, briefcase in hand.

"Let me get my toothbrush." He says undoing his seatbelt and collecting his coat. I watch him leave the passenger side and quickly get into his apartment to retrieve his things to go over to my house. I lean back into my seat when someone taps on my window, I look at them and squint my eyes as the sun reflects on them. I roll down my window, "Yes?"
Our brief conversation ends and after Alex gets into my passenger seat, as I begin driving, I can't help but talk about last night.
"I had a really nice time last night." I say with a smile.
"Nice?" He raises his voice.
"I had the best fucking night of my entire fucking life last night!" I say, giggling.
"That's better!" He says, fixing his dark blue beanie. He has his mail in hand and he goes through them but he raises an eyebrow.
