Lifeguard // Sam Golbach

Madelyn's POV:

It's been abut two days since the hospital and I'm doing better than I thought. Obviously I miss my dad like crazy and want him back but I've still been going places. yesterday I found out sam and Colby do ghost hunting which is pretty crazy because I'm a medium and I just so happen to know a few places in Melbourne to visit. so today I told the boys that I'm taking them to this abandoned house. I have no idea why it's so haunted and the backstory but I always see ghosts. I also don't know the address I only know about it because I went for a walk and got lost and found it. 

I'm currently putting everything I need into my bag. that stuff being, my camera (they decided to let me film since we are in my hometown then when we get back to America they will show me a place), my rem pod, EMF reader, water bottles, portable phone charger, torches (A/N: in other words flash lights but I call them torches), a few snacks and a hoodie. once I got everything in my bag I hoped in the car with Sofia and went to the hotel everyone was at.  Devyn, Cassie, reggie, Kevin and Ben didn't want to come so it would just be me, sof, sam, Colby, Corey and Jake going to the house. once we arrived at the house we piled out of the car and I set up the camera.

"Hey my loves! I know I said I wouldn't post for an awhile but I decided to come back to the OG house!! and if you are wondering, yes I will make a video soon about why I said I wouldn't be posting. but that's besides the point! obviously if you guys know this house is not safe to be at alone soooo I bought the lovely Sofia Thompson, Jake Webber, Corey Scherer, Sam Golbach and Colby Brock!" they each walked in when I said they names, sof walking normally and the boys messing around. "We will also be making a story time on how we met on they channel" I pointed to sam and Colby "about how we met. its a pretty funny story not gonna lie." I finished up the intro and we headed in side. I was about to walk in when I realised I didn't tell the boys on VERY important thing

"Wait guys, before we go in I need to tell you something. believe me or don't believe me I don't car but I'm a medium so I can see and hear any ghost that wants to make contact so don't get startled if I randomly start talking or if I gasp." I always get nervous telling people because I have lost friendships in the past because they didn't believe me.

"brother thats sick!! we actually have a friend who is also a medium, maybe we need to get both you guys in a video together." Sam exclaimed. Oh. My. God. He is so perfect. everything he does he's just perfect. the way he talks, the way he looks, the way his hair falls perfectly on his head. "alright so can we go in now?" shit. I was staring. omg Madelyn act cool. maybe looks at those trees over there. NO! don't do that now you looks weird. maybe ummm LOOK AT SOF! yes do that.

"oh yeah for sure lets go." Sofia covered. thank god for her. I feel like screaming into a pillow right now. I felt my face turning red so I turned around and walked in first. I immediately regretted that when I saw something. it looked weird and out of place. I've definitely not seen they one before. I gasped and slowly backed up but then I walked into sam.

"Shit sorry I just saw something that I've never seen before. I normally see the same ghosts everything but I don't think I've seen this one." I continued to stare at the figure. It was a tall black silhouette and it had what looked to be a top hat on. once we all walked in it disappeared.

"Do you think you could describe it? you know maybe give us a better understanding of it." Jake asked. he sounded scared but he told me before he doesn't get scared by this stuff. weird.

"um it was tall, had to have been over 7ft, it was a black silhouette and looked to be wearing a top hat, I didn't see anything else." Corey ran out right has I said 'top hat'. Jake, Sam and Colby followed quickly out while me and Sof stood in pace confuse. we slowly walked out and saw Corey with a distressed look on his face and the others trying to calm him down.

"are you guys alright?" Sofia questioned "I thought you'd be scared but not this scared." I elbowed her in the ribs signalising it was not the time to be a smart ass,

"That thing you saw is the shadow man. it's been haunting Corey since he was a teenager." Jake explained, clearing the air a little bit.

"omg I'm so sorry. do you want to go back to the hotel or someth-" I was trying to make sure Corey was ok but I got cut off by him.

"no it's fine we can keep going. it's just a bit scary but lets continue." and we did just that. we marched on back into the house. this time there was no shadow man but instead we got greeted by the ghosts I know.

"hey guys! I'm back I know! I've bought friends this time so promise me you won't hurt them?" I got a few nods. one time I bought friends the spirits weren't happy so I make sure to tell them not to hurt my friends every time now.

Hey guys! its been a few weeks I kinda forgot about this and I don't think anyone is reading it either. I just wrote this chapter fast and I don't have time to edit it so sorry about that.
