How I imagine Ella^^^^^^ I couldn't choose.
-------------------------------------------------------
It was starting to get late and everyone was leaving so they can get home before it got to dark to drive. Families came and went picking up their daughters from Ella's house, some Mother's even came in to congratulate me, it was really sweet of them to be considerate and come in to say salaam and congratulations. As soon as everyone left I was starting to get ready so I can leave too, I really didn't like to ride buses at night especially on Saturdays because that's when a lot of people get drunk and do drugs, and it is also the time Shaytan (devil's) come out and trick people into doing evil things. I was almost out the door when Ella called out to me,"Hey, Amal are you leaving already?"

"Yah, I want to get home before it gets dark," I answered.

"Is it okay if you sleepover tonight?" She gave me those puppy dog eyes and small little pout that I couldn't resist, but even if she didn't give me the look I would have still said yes. It is not like I have anything to do back home other then watch my uncle stare at his laptop and pretend that he has no niece to take care of (not that I need to be taken care of).

"Sure, but is it okay with your mom," I asked.

"Come on pleas--, wait did you just agree," she looked at me with a shocked face, then that shocked face turned into a big grin that made her whole face light up. "Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeees, yaaaaaaaaaaaaay, wooooooohooooooooooooo," was all I heard after that.

I just stared at her, while placing my hands in my ears.

"Ella! What is all of this noise your making, I can't talk to Yehya on the phone," Aunt Nancy came in looking annoyed and boy did she look pissed.

Uncle (Another way to address a grown up, doesn't have to be related) Yehya was Ella and Noah's stepfather. Aunt Nancy got remarried after the tragic incident that happened to Ella and Noah's father. Their father Mr. Jackson got murdered by some drunk people who were fighting together (there happened to be a gun involved). When Mr. Jackson saw what was happening he tried to stop the fight before any serious damage was done, but too late the damage was done the gun was triggered by accident and the lead went into his stomach. By the time the ambulance got there he had already lost too much blood. The whole family couldn't get over the accident. A year after the accident Aunt Nancy got to know Uncle Yehya at her job she learned about Islam from him and she taught Ella and Noah, and that led to them converting even though they struggled with it for a while. Uncle Yehya asked for Aunt Nancy's hand in marriage, but before making her final decision she asked her children if it was okay with them. They all agreed because if it weren't for Uncle Yehya, and of course Allah they wouldn't have found the light at the end of the dark tunnel.

"Mama, Amal agreed to sleepover. I am so happy," Ella was dancing around the house like a mad women, I was this close to changing my mind.

"That's great honey, but would you mind keeping it down," and with that she left me with the crazy dancing mad women.

"Why are you making a big deal out of it?" I asked confused.

"Dude, do you know how many times I asked that question and kept getting a no for an answer, you are like the first person ever to say yes."

"Asalam Alykum," I turned around fast startled by Noah's voice who was just entering the house.

"Walykum Alsalam," me and Ella replied at the same time.

Noah looked up fast at me as if surprised to see me still at his house. Every time I look at him I feel like my body is melting around me, and butterflies are trying to escape my stomach. I don't know why I feel like this around him. Why don't I feel the same way about other guys? Also, why Ella's brother specifically? All these question's were bumping around in my head, and I didn't notice that I was staring at him for the past minute until I heard Ella clearing her throat next to me.
