The wind picked up again, causing him to pull his jacket closer to his body as he walked kicking the fallen leaves out of his path. He had gone for a walk to try and get the constant crazy in his head to stop! Normally he loved the chaos in his head; it was weird, but truthfully he wouldn't know how to function without it. Lately though he hated it, unable to make it stop for even five minutes and it all revolved around one man; the only man he's ever loved...Special Agent Roman Reigns. Meeting Roman had been the best and worst thing to ever happen to him! It was the best because for the first time in his entire life Dean Ambrose had let someone into his fragile, guarded heart and he wasn't hurt! Roman showed him he was deserving of love, he made Dean want to be a better person! It was the worst though because even though they loved each other they came from two completely different worlds! Roman's a highly respected FBI Agent, and Dean's a criminal, the top guy in the most ruthless, feared, violent Crime Family around The Authority!

Unlike in movies and books, love isn't always enough to keep people together; and Dean and Roman's love was no exception. In the few short months they were together they had been forced to hide their love, living double lives to keep the other safe. They snuck around for weeks to be together, before they ran away and for three incredible months they were free to be in love. Then one day Dean learned from another Authority member Paige; she and Dean were close like brother and sister, that The Authority wanted Dean back! Scared for Roman, Dean left breaking up with him. That had been two months ago and the pain he felt that day was just as strong now as it was then. All Dean had left was the ring he kept on a chain around his neck; Roman had the matching ring. The rings are promise rings, a promise of a future together...now, they were just a reminder of a happily ever after taken from him.

Since the day he left Dean hasn't seen or spoken to Roman, he still loved him, but Dean stayed away to keep Roman safe. So, to try and help distract himself he threw himself into Authority buisness, but nothing helped. Paige was the only one who knew about Dean and Roman, she supported them and she had grown close to Roman. She was there every night to comfort Dean when he cried, wishing there was some way for her brothers to be together!

Dean was so lost in his thoughts he didn't realize Paige saw him, quickly catching up with him. She surprised Dean when she grabbed his arm, and holding it she began walking with him, leaning against him.

"Dammit Paige, I've told you never do shit like that to me! What if I had hit you huh?" Dean scolded her.

"You didn't though!" She replied smiling.

"I could have dammit! I'd never forgive myself if I did!" Dean stated, as they stopped walking.

"Alright, I'm sorry! I promise I'll make sure you know I'm there...happy?" She replied.

"Very!" He answered smiling, as he kissed her head. "What are you doing here anyway kid? I thought you had family buisness to take care of?"

"I do...you!" She answered, as they continued walking. "Come on D, let's go get wasted!"

**Days Later**:

The days continued to pass, and Roman's heart was still broken. He loved Dean now as much as he did in the beginning, and it killed him to know he'd never be able to hold Dean again or tell him how much he loved him! He never had the chance to say goodbye before Dean left him to keep him safe. Roman knew he was the only one Dean's ever loved and it made the whole situation worse! Since the investigation into his actions on The Authority case was still going on, that meant Roman was still suspended leaving him a lot of time to think about Dean. At least now that Dean was gone that meant Roman's best friend...brother, and partner Special Agent Seth Rollins was finally happy! Right from the beginning Dean and Seth despised each other, Seth didn't accept their love, always trying to break them up. Unable to help Seth right now meant Roman needed to find ways to distract himself, but no matter what he did it never worked, and if by chance it did it wasn't for very long.

He sighed, as he leaned back on the couch in the hotel room rubbing his hands over his face. As he pulled his hands away he caught sight of his ring, the promise ring Dean had given him as a promise for a future together. He refused to take it off, doing that was like giving up on their love and he would never do that! He had never loved anyone as much as he loved Dean, and even though they weren't together now, didn't mean they wouldn't find their way back to each other in the future.
