**With Dean**:
Dean sighed as he walked into the warehouse and headed for his room. He unlocked it and went inside, he took his jacket off tossing it onto the bed, before he began undressing. He was exhausted physically, mentally and emotionally. Running from his memories of Roman was tiring, the only thing that seemed to stop them...if only temporairily was drinking! He had always been a drinker, but now he could be classified as an alcoholic, but he didn't care as long as the pain went away for awhile so he could breathe!
Before he started drinking heavily, he used to lean on Paige, but all she ever wanted to do was talk about was Roman! So, he began to keep her at a distance, it killed him to do it, but he couldn't let go and move on if she kept talking about him! Thinking of Roman, Dean reached up and began playing with his ring; he still wore it on a chain around his neck, he wasn't ready to take it off yet.
Just then someone knocked on his door, sighing he put his pants back on, before he called out to the person to come in, seconds later Paige came in smiling.
"Hey D!"
"Hey kid!" He greeted her smiling, before he hugged her.
"We've been called to mommy and daddy's office."
"Family meeting?" Dean asked, as he grabbed his shirt and shoes and put them on.
"Nope, Kane said they wanted to see you and I only!" She answered.
"Us?" Dean asked standing.
"You don't think they found us out do you?" Paige asked nervously.
"No, if they did they wouldn't have waited this long to do something. It's probably about a job, come on we better go." Dean said taking her hand, as they left the room.
Minutes later they knocked on the office door, before going inside. Once inside they saw Hunter and Steph only, Steph spoke smiling.
"There you two are, sit we want to talk to you."
"What's going on?" Dean asked, as they sat, he held Paige's hand wanting to keep her close in case something happened and they needed to run.
"Tomorrow's the annual Policeman's Masquerade Ball. You both know Steph and I always attend." Hunter said smiling.
"Better you, than me! You'd never catch me at one of those rich, uptight, boring as hell parties!" Dean said, as Paige agreed.
"Until now!" Hunter said smiling.
"What? No way, Hunter! Do we look like we'd fit in there or have a good freaking time?" Paige asked.
"Yeah, why us? Why not send someone like the Bella Barbies? Or Orton?" Dean asked.
"Look, you two are our best and we need our best at this party! Hunter and I wish we could go, but we have family buisness to take care of! We need Authority members there to mingle, bullshit the other guests and find out what they know! Easy right?" Steph explained.
"We don't have any costumes, we..."
"Save it Paige! We've already decided you two are going! Your costumes, complete with masks are right here!" Hunter said smiling, as he gave them their costumes.
"Can we go now?" Dean asked pissed he had to go to some stuffy party, at least Paige would be there and of course there'd be free booze!
"Yeah, go ahead and remember you two are going, there's nothing you can do to get out of it! See you both tomorrow night guys!" Steph answered smiling.
After leaving the room Dean and Paige went to his room, they put their costumes on the bed before they sat down.
"I guess going won't be so bad! At least we can raise hell together right?" Paige asked smiling.
"Wrong! I'm not going Paige!" Dean answered.
"Hunter and Steph really didn't give us much of an option Dean!" Paige said.
"Too damn bad! I'm not going to the party and that's it!" Dean said, as he got up and threw his costume on the floor. "You going to go tell on me to mommy and daddy?" Dean asked sarcastically.
"What the hell has gotten into you Dean?" She asked upset, as she stood too.
"Nothing!" Dean answered, as he took his shoes and shirt off.
"You've changed Dean! What would Roman think if..."
"Shut up Paige!" Dean yelled angrily, as he got close to her, he got right in her face. "Leave him out of this dammit! We broke up and he's out of my life for good! So don't ever bring him up again!" He yelled starring into her eyes.
"Fine! You know what Dean? I'll do us both a favor and I'll never talk to you again! You've been pushing me away for awhile now, so I'll just end it now, save you from doing it! When you're done being mad at the whole damn world you know where to find me!" Paige said upset, as she grabbed her costume and left slamming the door behind her.
Once she was gone Dean angrily began trashing his room. When he calmed down he sat on his bed breathing hard, as he rubbed his hands over his face. He couldn't believe he did that to Paige, she was the only one who had ever been there for him. She even risked her life to keep his secret and he treats her like she means nothing to him! She was right, he had changed, all because he wanted Roman back and he couldn't have him. He hurt all the time and couldn't deal with it anymore; he felt like he had lost his damn mind! He saw his costume on the floor, he sighed as he starred at it for a few seconds. Before he stood and went and picked it up. He knew he had to apologize to Paige, and to do that he needed to go to the damn party with her!
