Forgiving Him

 Dean held Seth against the wall with one arm, his other arm was raised his hand in a fist ready to hit Seth. Neither spoke as they starred into each others eyes; fear and sadness in Seth's, anger and heartache in Dean's! Without saying anything Dean put his arm down and released Seth, before he walked away turning his back to him.

 "Dean?" Seth said gently.

 "Why?" Dean asked quietly, without turning around.

 "Why what?"

 "Why do you care about my relationship with Roman? I thought you hated me?" Dean asked finally turning to face him.

 "I do...I mean I did hate you!" Seth answered.

 "What?" Dean asked confused.

 "I can explain everything, if you'll let me?" Seth asked.

 "I'm listening." Dean agreed, as he sat down.

 "Thank you." Seth said, as he sat across from him. "Ro and I have been best friends and partners for years. We've been through so much together good and bad! We're the only family each other has, and I'd do anything to protect him; which was what I was trying to do from you! From the minute we arrested you I knew Ro had feelings for you, I knew even though he tried to lie and hide it from me. At first I thought he was just lusting after you, so I said nothing hoping it would pass, but when I walked in on you two I knew then that it wouldn't! I tried so hard to break the hold you had over him, but nothing worked, he loved you and that scared me! To me you didn't deserve Roman or his love, all you were was a violent, criminal dirt bag, who was just using Ro and I wasn't going to let him be another one of your victims! Nothing I said or did worked though, until you disappeared the night that deal went bad! That was my chance to prove to Roman that you didn't love him and I had been right about you from the beginning! I thought I had finally gotten through to him, but I was obviously wrong! It wasn't until Paige came to me for help after you guys left that I realized how wrong I was! Paige told me everything, she made me realize I had judged you without even knowing anything about you! She opened my eyes, showing me who you really are and that you honestly, truly love Roman! Dean, I know I don't deserve your forgiveness and it's not going to magically erase all I've said and done, but I'm so sorry. You don't need to accept it, I just wanted to tell you and explain why I did it."

 Dean sat quietly starring at Seth, he wasn't expecting to hear those words from Seth, and honestly he didn't know how to respond. Dean hated dealing with feelings and emotions, and Seth was forcing him to do that...damn him!

 "Seth, I have never loved anyone before in my entire life, but I love Roman! Somehow he snuck into my heart and now it belongs to him alone! I get it though, why you did what you did...I felt the same as you; I hated you before I got to know you. I forgive you and I'm sorry too." Dean replied.

 "You're forgiven too." Seth said smiling.

 "So...um, what happens now? Do we hug or something?" Dean asked unsure.

 "Oh, um...I guess we could!" Seth answered, as they stood and hugged.

 "Okay, well that was...awkward!" Dean said, as the hug ended.

 "Agreed!" Seth added.

 "Look Rollins, we're cool and everything, but do you think we could go back to the way we were?" Dean asked.

 "Oh, yeah!" Seth agreed smiling.

 "Awesome!" Dean said, as he smiled too. "Let me ask you something Two-Tones?"

 "What?" Seth asked, as they sat beside each other.

 "Do you have a thing for Paige?"

 "Wow...um, yeah I do. I've always thought she was beautiful, but spending time with her we grew close and I care a lot about her...I've fallen in love with her!" Seth answered smiling.

 "Did you sleep with her?" Dean asked.

 "Uh..." Seth began, unsure how to answer that without being torn apart. "Yeah." He whispered.

 "If you hurt her in any way Rollins I will kill you!" Dean stated with no expression, as he starred into Seth's eyes making Seth very uncomfortable.

 "You...you don't really mean that right? You're just trying to scare me?" Seth asked nervously.

 "Nope, I mean it Seth! I know a hundred ways to kill you and make it look like an accident!" Dean answered still not smiling.

 "I'm not going to hurt her Dean!" Seth reassured him.

 "Great, then we're going to get along just fine!" Dean said smiling, as he patted Seth on the back.

 "You're a Lunatic, you know that Ambrose?" Seth asked smiling.

 "Yep!" Dean replied, as they both laughed.
