Seth couldn't believe his luck, now if Ford saw him going back through the files, he had no reason to be suspicious! Seth wasted no time going through all the files and records on and off the computer, even making sure he got the tapes of all the interviews with Dean. Not having very much on either of them anyway, helped Seth a lot. He wiped the computers clean of everything concerning Dean's arrest; being an FBI Agent had its perks! A couple hours later there was nothing in any files or on any computers that had to do with them, they didn't exist. If anyone did get suspicious there was no way to track what Seth did! All he had left to do was get rid of a small file and the many tapes of Dean's interviews. He put the file in a box with the tapes and took them to his car, locking them in his trunk. He then headed back inside to start making copies of the report, while he continued thinking of how he was going to find Paige and Dean.
**With Roman**:
Roman sat at his usual booth in the little coffee shop down the street from their hotel. Since returning with Seth, Roman spent his days sitting at the coffee shop thinking, while Seth worked. He enjoyed it there, the coffee and food were great, and most of the people there were nice. The only downside was a man who had started coming into the shop at the same time every day, two days after Roman had started going there. It wasn't that the guy wasn't nice, he was, but he constantly hit on Roman. And even though he wasn't with Dean, it still felt like cheating and he continously turned down the guys advances. Roman looked at his watch and sighed, 2 o'clock perfect! Anytime now the guy will come in, order his coffee and sit with Roman. Maybe if he was lucky, he could leave now and...the door opening stopped his thoughts and he hung his head hearing the familiar voice order his coffee, dammit!
"Hey Roman!"
"Hey Bo." Roman greeted him faking his smile, as Bo sat across from him.
"What's new in the life of my favourite FBI Agent?" Bo asked smiling.
"Same stuff as yesterday, and the day before that! What about you?"
"Same as you. So, when are you going to agree to go out with me?" Bo asked.
"Bo, I already told you I'm seeing someone, but we..."
"You're on a break! I know, you tell me that every time I ask!" Bo said cutting him off.
"So stop asking!" Roman said smiling.
"Not until you say yes!" Bo answered.
"Bo, you're a nice guy, but I'm not interested." Roman said gently.
"How do you know if you never give me a chance?" Bo asked.
"Bo..." Roman began, but was cut off by his phone ringing, relieved for the interruption he quickly took it out and smiled seeing it was Seth. "It's Seth, I gotta take this! Sorry Bo, bye!" He said, as he stood and quickly went outside. "Hey Seth, you have perfect timing man!" Roman said leaning against the wall, as he answered his phone.
"I do? Why?" Seth asked completely confused.
"Never mind, what's up?"
"Well, I just learned about something that sounds like a lot of fun!" Seth answered.
"What?" Roman asked curious.
"Every October the police have an annual Policeman's Masquerade Ball! So, I thought you and I could..."
"No, Seth!" Roman answered cutting him off.
"Come on Ro, it'll be fun I promise! There'll be food, drinks, costumes and dancing! Besides it'll be good for you to get out and relax dude!" Seth stated.
"Nah, it's not my thing! I...I don't feel like going to some fancy ball, sorry man! You go and have fun for the both of us though."
"Ro, is there anything I can do to convince you to come?" Seth asked.
"Nope!"
"Alright, I'll go by myself tomorrow night! I'll be back at the hotel in an hour, you up for grabbing dinner then?"
"Sounds good, see you soon Two-Tones!" Roman said hanging up.
"The Policeman's Masquerade Ball, huh?" Bo said from behind Roman scaring him.
"Shit Bo! You scared me, don't do that!" Roman said.
"Sorry, I was on my way out and overheard your conversation."
"Seth wants me to go to the ball, but I'm not exactly in the mood for a party right now." Roman explained.
"That's a shame. I have two tickets and I was hoping you'd go with me?" Bo asked.
"Not interested, sorry." Roman answered.
"Look Roman, we both know I'm a guy who doesn't give up, and we can keep playing this game every day, or you can agree to come to the ball with me; one date and I'll be happy!" Bo explained.
"One date and you'll stop asking me out?" Roman asked.
"Yep!" Bo answered smiling.
"Alright, I'll go to the ball with you." Roman agreed sighing.
"Yes! You won't regret this, I promise! I'll pick you up at 8, don't forget it's a Masquerade ball, so you'll need a costume and mask!"
"Got it. My room number is 408, you already know what hotel I'm at. I've got to go, but I'll see you tomorrow night." Roman said smiling. "Bye Bo."
"Bye Roman." Bo said happily, as he walked away.
