Chapter 22

Christina's POV

Its been a couple of days since Tris's surgery and she still hasn't waken up.

Four has been in her room all that time and never took his eyes of her to sleep or take a nap only to go to the bathroom. He's really grumpy, the slightest things set him off.

Right now I'm heading over to see Tris. I hope she will wake up soon, its getting really boring without her and Four.

I'm surprised the teachers don't care that he's skipping school. His dad doesn't even care! I wish my parents were like that!

I open the door to the room Tris is in to see Four asleep with his head leaning against the bed while holding Tris's hand. It's so cute! I grab my phone and take a picture of them. I decide to go grab some food for him while he sleeps.

The food store is just down the block so I walk. I enter the store and grab a cart. I walk around the store for about 10 to 15 minutes before I pay. I ended up with apples, strawberries, grapes, Doritos, Star Wars fruit snacks, s'mores pop tarts, peach snapple ice tea, and a bunch of soft mints.

After I get back to Tris's room I set the stuff on the counter and put the cold stuff in the fridge. I mean this place has a mini kitchen!

I grab a chair and pull it up to the side of the bed and watch them sleep. I have to admit they are really cute together! They need a ship name!

I sit there think of different names and then lightbulb in my head turns on. FOURTRIS! Yes! that's so going to be their ship name!

Four slowly wakes up and when he sees me he jumps.
"What the hey!" he says
"Sorry didn't mean to scare ya" I say
"Why are you smiling like an idiot?" he asks, I show him the picture of him and Tris and say
"Fourtris!"
"What?!" he says looking at like I'm a crazy person
"That's you and Tris's ship name!" I say "I also got snacks"
"Awesome thanks! I'm starving!" he says and grabs the bag of Doritos and a snapple from the fridge.

After a while he goes and takes a shower, so I turn on the TV and there is nothing good so I turn on the news.

Four comes out a while later and sits down
"Was Tris okay when I was taking my shower?" he asks with a concerned look on his face
"Yeah, she was just fine" I smile at him
"Okay good" he says

We sit there in silence watching the news.
"Earlier the police found Gordon Prior outside the hospital." I turn the volume up so we can hear better
"Resources say that Beatrice Prior is in the hospital yet again. The cause of this, because she got attacked in the women's restroom at the park a couple days ago. She still hasn't woken up, and they don't know if she will.

Now I'll will send it over to Jim for more on the story" the news lady says

"Yes, thank you Holly. As you can see I'm here outside the hospital that 16 year old Beatrice Prior is staying in. It has been an eventful couple of weeks for her. she was first abused by her uncle since the age of 5, then when she moved out to Chicago from Denver she still couldn't get away from him. Her first day at Divergent High was going pretty good until after lunch when her uncle kidnapped her from in the middle of the hallway with students walking by to get to class.

She was later found in the ditch by one of her very good friends then was taken to the hospital. Then on a Saturday morning her uncle went up to her room and attacked her. He ended up shooting her in the stomach. The doctors didn't now if she was going to wake up. Luckily she pulled through and woke up.

And now just the other day she was attacked in the women's bathroom by a fellow classmate. Officers found the classmate and arrested.

The classmate beat Beatrice with a medal rod. No one knows where she go it from, and as we ask her classmate they say she was acting jealous when she saw Beatrice and Four hanging out. And some said that she was acting crazy too." Man they know a lot!

My phone starts to vibrate so I check it and its my mom saying she needs me at home.
"Hey, my mom needs me at home so I'll be back later" I tell Four
"Okay, I'm going to be here so you know where to find me" I replies back
"K see ya"
"See ya"

Fours POV

Chris leaves so I look back up to the news to see if I can see her walking out. I hear shuffling behind me and see Tris wiggling! Then all of a sudden she shoots up so she's siting up and screams holding her head. Crap!

I run to the side of the bed and press the help button so the nurse or a doctor comes in. Then I try to calm Tris down but it doesn't work. I call Chris and tell her to come back up here. Then the doctor runs in with a needle and stabs Tris in the neck with it.

After a minute she stops screaming and lays back down.

Chris's POV

I hope the news reporter doesn't try to bother me they annoy me. I walk through the doors and see the news report still talking, so I try to sneak past him but the doesn't work.
"Hey! Hey miss aren't you a friend of Beatrice Prior?" he asks
"Um yeah" I say
"Can I ask you a couple of questions?"
"Um-" I'm cut off by my phone ringing

I take my phone out of my pocket and Fours face pops up. I answer and ask
"What's wrong?! Is she okay?!"
"Um I don't know what's wrong and I need you to come back up here and fast!" he says, in the background I hear screaming. Crap
"K" I say and hang up then run back in the hospital.

The elevator takes to long so I take the stairs, skipping a couple. Good thing I'm wearing flats! I finally make it to the third floor and run to Tris's room and almost break down the door.
"What's wrong?!" I ask running over to Tris
"She woke up and had some head pains, so I gave her some medicine to stop the pain" the doctor tells me
"Okay thank you" I say
"Yep," he says and then starts to walk out then says "she can probably leave tomorrow night"
"Great thanks" Four says the the doctor leaves

"Well I'm going to go I will be back later" I say and leave
I'm going to have to talk to the guy again. ugh!

As I walk out of the hospital and put my sunglasses on then Jim comes up to me again
"What happened in there? Is Beatrice okay?" he asks
"Yeah she's fine" I say and start walking to my car , but he keeps following me
"What happened to her?" he asks shoving the mic in my face
"She was just have some pains. Now get that thing out of my face!" I growl and shove the mic out of my face
"Wait! She woke up?!" he asks
"Yes then fell back to sleep now leave me alone." I say and jump in my car, start the engine, and drive away.
