Chapter 27

Tris's POV

I just got finished cleaning my face and getting stitches on my ear, eyebrow, and lip.

The doctor said new cartilage will grow, so my ear will be as good as new! There might be a little bump.
They said I can go home right after the doctor tells me how to take care of my stitches. Im not even listening to him. Good thing mom is with me.
"Got that?" he asks
"Oh um yep" I say
"Okay see you in a couple weeks"
"Okay" we walk out the room to see the whole group here. Four rushes up to me and hugs me tightly
"I'm so glad your okay!" he whispers
"Oh and You two no PDA this time please" the doctor laughs and walks off. It feels like there's a wildfire in my cheeks right now.
"What?! You guys kissed! And you didn't tell me! To think you were my best friend" Chris jokes
Everyone is cracking up except for Four, and mom. Four is smiling while mom is giving me a look.
"Can we go?" I ask looking down
"Yeah let's go before more news reporters get here" Four says
"That's a good idea" mom replies

Chris catches up to me
"So the doctor walked in when you guys were kissing?" she ask
"He didn't really walk in on us, we were in the hallway it was so embarrassing"
"In the hallway!" she says shocked
"Yeah"

As we walk out the door we see a bunch of news reporters and police officers. Once the reporters see me they started yelling questions, then a police officer comes up to me.
"Excuse me miss do you mind if I ask you some questions?" a female officer asks me
"Um does it have to be here?" I ask
"No we can go to your house"
"Okay thank you"
"No problem" she says

We pull I to the drive way and get out of the car. We get in the house with everyone following us, and go into the kitchen. Four asks everyone to go outside, and they do as he asks so its just mom, Four, the officer, and me sitting at the dinning room table.
"You talked to my partner in the hospital the first time, so no need to start from the very beginning" she says taking out her small note pad. "Is it true that your uncle assaulted you?" I tense up and feel my heart beat speed up
"Yes" I reply
Four holds my hand under the table and rubs it
"How many times did he do that?" she asks I don't even want to look at anyone so I stare at the table, trying not to let the tears that have formed in my eyes fall.
"Twice" I say as a sob escapes
"How old were you?"
"The first time was when I was 10" I say and hear a sob comes from my mom "and last year" I finish as a few more sobs escape
"Why didn't you tell anyone?" she questions
"He said it would get a lot worse"
I hear mom get up and walk out of the room.
"Okay, thank you that's all the questions I have for now" the officer says and gets up "if you ever need anything just call"
She tells me and lays one of her cards on the table then leaves

I get up from the table and start walking up the stairs to my room
"Tris" Four calls me but I just ignore him and keep walking

I shut the door when I get in my room and go lay down on my bed. I just lay there staring at the wall with tears running down my cheeks. I hear the door open then close, I just keep staring at the wall
"Tris?" Four asks and sits on the bed
I still don't answer
"Please" he begs "at least look at me"
I roll over so I'm looking at him
"Thank you" he smiles, then lays down next to me and pulls me into a hug "you never should have gone through that"
I cry as he rubs my back.

Soon my crying turns into sobs as I remember those two days. Last year was the worst out of the two days. After a couple of minutes I fall asleep in Fours arms.

Sorry for the wait! Short chapter I know.✋
I'm trying to update as much as possible, but when I try I'm like 'in a couple of minutes. Dragonvale is calling my name'
I'm like so addicted to that game I just got it a couple of days ago!

OMG! Insurgent comes out on DVD of all that good stuff tomorrow! Im like freaking out!
