"NO! PLEASE DON'T!" Ivy's screams filled the sterile room. "He's coming. He promised he would come!"

The sterile white walls closed in around her and she found herself surrounded by a sea of unfamiliar facesdoctors and nurses clad in white coats, their expressions impassive as they approached her with cold detachment.

As the nurses and doctors moved to restrain her, Ivy recoiled at the touch of their latex gloves against her skin. The sensation was repulsive, the smooth, cold material sending a shiver of revulsion down her spine.

She squirmed against their grasp, her skin crawling at the thought of their hands touching her, even through the barrier of the gloves. Each touch felt like an invasion, a violation of her very being.

"No, please!" Ivy's voice cracked with desperation as she struggled against the restraints that bound her to the bed, her heart pounding in her chest. "I need Doctor Cullen! He said he would help me!"

But her pleas fell on deaf ears as the medical staff continued their relentless advance, their hands moving with practiced efficiency as they prepared to administer the shock therapy that awaited her.

"You can't do this!" she screamed in desperation. "He's coming. He promised he would come! Just call him and ask him. He will tell you!"

As Ivy's desperation reached its peak, Doctor Martinez leaned in closer, his face a mask of clinical detachment. "He's not coming, Ivy," he stated flatly, his voice devoid of any hint of compassion.

The words landed like a blow, striking at the last vestiges of hope that had remained within Ivy's heart. She felt as though the ground had been ripped out from beneath her, leaving her suspended in a void of despair.

"No... please," Ivy pleaded, her voice barely a whisper as tears welled in her eyes. But Doctor Martinez's expression remained unchanged, unmoved by her anguish.

"He's moved on, Ivy," he continued, his tone matter-of-fact. "And now it's time for you to do the same."

A wave of despair washed over Ivy as she realized that her last glimmer of hope had been extinguished. Doctor Cullen, the one person who had offered her a lifeline in the darkness, was gone, leaving her to face her fate alone.

With a heavy heart and a soul weighed down by despair, Ivy finally gave up. She ceased her struggles against the restraints, her body going limp against the unforgiving surface of the bed. It was a resignation born not out of defeat, but out of sheer exhaustion—the exhaustion of fighting a battle that she knew she could never win.
