AS ARO DESCENDED INTO THE depths of the dungeon, the air grew heavy with the weight of anticipation. Each step echoed against the stone walls, a solemn reminder of the gravity of his purpose.

At the bottom of the stairs, Aro approached a heavy iron door, guarded by Felix and Demetri. They stepped aside, allowing their master to pass through. Inside the cell, strapped to a chair with thick leather restraints, was Doctor Martinez, the man who had tormented Ivy with his cruel methods. The doctor's eyes widened in fear as Aro entered, his red eyes glowing with a chilling intensity.

Aro approached the restrained figure, his steps measured and deliberate. He studied Doctor Martinez for a moment, the air thick with tension. The doctor's face contorted with a mixture of fear and defiance as Aro approached, his eyes narrowing in the dim light. But Aro's expression remained impassive, a mask of calculated composure that belied the storm of rage brewing beneath the surface.

"Grant Martinez," Aro's voice was a low, measured rumble that filled the cramped confines of the cell.

"Please," he started begging. "I have money if that's what you want. I can call my ban-"

"I have no use for your wealth. You have nothing I desire," Aro interrupted him.

"Please," he tried again. "I have a family, children. Please."

"Why would I want your children?" he asked and took a step closer to him. Aro grabbed his hand that was tied to the chair and stood still as Doctor Martinez's thoughts started simmering through his mind.

As Aro's cold, pale hand made contact with Doctor Martinez's clammy skin, a flood of memories and thoughts surged into his mind. Every hidden corner of the doctor's consciousness, every dark and twisted thought, became an open book to Aro.

He saw flashes of the asylum, the sterile, cold rooms, and the terrified faces of the patients. But more than that, he saw Ivy. Her young, vulnerable form strapped to the table, her eyes wide with fear as Martinez prepared the shock therapy machine. The doctor's thoughts were a sickening mix of clinical detachment and something far more sinister. Aro's grip tightened as he delved deeper into Martinez's mind.

The doctor had never voiced these thoughts, but they were there, lurking beneath the surface. He had taken a perverse pleasure in Ivy's suffering, masking it with a facade of medical necessity. His mind reveled in the control he had over her, the power to reduce her to a quivering, desperate state. The things he imagined doing to her, the twisted fantasies that played out in the privacy of his mind, made Aro's blood boil with rage.
