4; Apologies

Issac pov

This morning I woke up before Alyssa again. That's perfect because I didn't want her to know about the bet between me and Cole. I didn't want her to tell Jackie. After Benny did his part he took Jackie's bag with her shampoo. Lee told her there was a shower downstairs so she went. After I went to go check on Lyss. She was on her phone still in bed.

" morning Lyss"

"Morning my beautiful princess" she said as she smiled at me. I glared at her and she started laughing. I ignore her and threw her phone on the air mattress and pulled her off the bed.

"Wait Issac no" she screams as I throw her over my shoulder.

"You have to get up. Cmon pick what you want to wear I'm taking you to the bathroom" I say as I walk over to her suitcase. She picks out her outfit and then we walk to the bathroom.

"Oh look no one's using the bathroom" I say as I put her down and shove her into the bathroom.

" I hate you"

"No you dont" I say back as I close the door. As she gets ready I hear a scream from Jackie. I run downstairs and stand next to the bathroom door.

" Hey Issac can you get Katherine" she says worried.

"Uh sorry I can't I made a bet with someone either you go to school with your hair like that or you stay home" that's all I say before I left to go find Alyssa. I go into our room and there she is braiding her hair into two braid while listening to music.

"Hello my beautiful princess" she says as she finishes one of the braids. She looks up and smirks at me.

" Why can't you be the beautiful princess" I ask as I sit next to her.

"Cause then where's the fun in that" she says as she starts to braid the other part. As she finishes I get a better look at her. The outfit she picked out and her hair looks so good. She looks perfect. She gets off the bed and goes to put on her converses. She the sits back on the bed with her converses.

"Can you tie them for me" she asks as she puts her feet on my lap.

"Nope" I say as I push her feet off.

"Please just this once" she says as she gives me puppy dog eyes and put her feet back. I give in and tie her shoes.

"Thanks princess" she says as she gets up and pats my head. I glared at her and she laughs as she walks out. They way this girl affects me is crazy.

Alyssa

After I got done teasing Issac I went downstairs to find Jackie. Where is this girl. After a while I see her come down with her hair in a bun and random hat. That's weird her hairs always down. I go over to her and don't say anything about her hair.

"Good morning my beautiful sister" I say as we walk over to the counter. She just nods. I walk off cause she obviously doesn't want to talk to me. I grab my backpack and go to the van. I sit down next Issac and then we leave. It was pretty much like yesterday went to my morning classes than went to lunch. I talked to Issac and the others I tried to talk to Jackie but she ignored me. How rude. After lunch I made my way to science. Our teacher made us do a group project. Every one got up and picked who they wanted to do it with while I just stood there.

"Hey you can be in our group" this guy says as he waves me over. I walk over and sit down at the table.

"I'm andrew and this is Kayla" he says as he nudges the girl next to him. She looks up from the work and gives me a smile.

"I'm Alyssa"

" Hey have you guys heard of that freshman who moved here from New York. I mean who would want to move from New York to a dump like thi-" she rambles. I cut her off.

"Actually we didn't decide to move here our parents died. That girls my sister." I say nonchalantly while picking up a pencil. Their jaws drop when I tell them that.

"Oh don't feel bad it's ok. I like to hear what people say about me and my family" I say as I see them relax. We start the project and talk some more.

"Do you mind if get your numbers" I ask as I pull out my phone from my pocket. They nod and put there numbers in. I then hear the bell ring. Luckily it was my last class so we walked out together.
We talked until I realized the time. It was 3:30.

"Hey I got to go" I say as I rush off. I run outside but as soon as I get out there they already are driving off. Andrew and Kayla walk up behind me.

"Your ride was the Walter's huh" Andrew asks as he looks at me. I nod.

"You can get a ride with us. We're also going to get ice-cream at montys" he asks.

"Yeah sure ice-cream actually sounds sooo good right now" I say then we walk towards his car and drive to the place. I text Katherine that I'm going to be late. After we eat he drives me back. I grab my backpack and the ice-cream bag and say goodbye before I get out. I walk inside and put the ice-cream in the freezer than go upstairs to Jackie's room. I got into Jackie's room and all I see is her brushing her hair with orange streaks in it.

"Jack what happened" I say as I go over to her and start playing with her hair. She slaps away my hand.

"The boys made a bet that I would rather stay home than go to school with my hair bleached"

"Wait who did it? If you want I can beat them up for you" I say half jokingly and half seriously. She looks down at her feet.

"Cmon you can tell me I won't snitch" I say trying to convince her. It was completely silent.

"It was Issac" she blurted out. Honestly I would say I'm shocked but I'm not. I mean that's Issac Garcia for you. I just nod.

"So you're not mad at him or me." She asks, look back at me.

"No why would I be mad at you guys. This stuff is between you and Issac not me. Plus your my sister and he's my friend I can't pick sides." I say while playing with my hair.

"Well I'm going to go to my room" I say then walk out.

Issac pov

I've been waiting for Lyss for like two hours I wonder where she is? As I continued to think I heard someone walk in. It was Alyssa finally.

"Where were you?" I ask, trying not to sound too concerned.

"To get ice-cream with some friends. There's some leftover in the freezer" she says as she walks over to my bed and sits down. We both lay down and talk for a while and than it's just silent. It's not awkward silence either we're just enjoying each other's company.

"I know about the bet Ise" she says as she turns her head to look at me. My face immediately drops.

"I'm not mad or anything I kind of think it's funny" she says. I sigh in relief.

"You better not tell me sister though" I just nod.

"Now that we're done talking about this you know who you remind me of." She asks.

"Who"

"Jess from gilmore girls" as she says that I cringe.

" Why jess" I ask.

"I don't know you just give off that vibe you know" she asks as she looks at me with the biggest grin ever. I just nod and laugh.

"Can I have your number" I ask trying not to sound like a stalker.

"Uh yeah sure" she says and puts her number in my phone while I do the same for her. We switched our phones back and continued talking.
