21;Ferris wheel

We just got to the fair. It was more packed than it was yesterday, surprisingly.

I've just been hanging out with my friends and Issac. Jack said she was going to come later for the concert.

I'm so excited about it. I've never been to a concert before.

Right now, our group was just walking around the place choosing what to do next.

"Bro, I think I'm pregnant cause I'm literally craving funnel cake," I heard Lee say from in front of me.

"What's funnel cake?" As the words come out of my mouth, everyone turns to look at me.

"You've never had funnel cake," my boyfriend questions as he slips his hand into mine.

I shake my head no as my friends look at my disappointedly.

Ironically enough, we were walking towards and standing where they sold them.

Of course, my friends pressured me into getting one. After we got them, we found a picnic table to sit at.

As soon as I sat down, everybody was looking at me and waiting for me to try it.

"This is actually really good." I admit as I finished taking my 1st bite.

"I know they're basically a delicacy," andrew said as he took a bite of his.

After we finished eating we decided to play some carnival games. The guys walked off, so it just left me and Kay.

I wanted to play ring toss, so that was what we went to do.

"Lyss, I need to tell you something really, really important. You can't tell anyone, promise, " Kayla begged me as she threw a ring at the bottles.

"Yeah, I promise." I reassure her as I got to take my turn.

"I think I like Lee," she blurts out. She says that as I go to throw the ring, but I end up missing so bad from how shocked I was.

I squeal. "Oh my gosh, really," I jump with excitement.

She tries to shush me but smiles and nods her head yes.

"But I don't think he likes me," she tells me with a straight face.

I laugh at my friends idiotic nature. "Girl, of course he likes you." I pause to throw a ring. "It's kind of obvious."

"Really?" I nod.

"I really want that peguin plushie. It looks so cute. " Kay nods her head in agreement.

Well, both of our aims suck so we didn't end up winning anything. To make ourselves feel better, we went and got cotton candy.

Issac pov

After me and the guys and I played a couple of games, we went to go find the girls. I wanted to win lyss something, so I got her this peguin plushie.

After walking literally forever to find them, we finally found them eating cotton candy standing next to the ferris wheel.

Once she saw me, she smiled and waved. "You want some," she offered as I got closer.

"No thanks, but I did get you this." I say as I give her the plushie I won for her.

Her face lights up, and then she starts laughing hard. I smile but give her a confused look.

"What?"

"Nothing, it's just earlier. I wanted to get this exact one," she wrapped her arms around me and gave me a kiss.

"Thank you, bubs. This is really sweet." She says as she gives me a hug. I hug her back and kiss the top of her head.

After our hug, I look around to see it's already starting to get dark. This would be the perfect time to go on the ferris wheel.

"Do you wanna go on the ferris wheel?" I ask. She nods as she drags me towards the line.

We finally make it to the front of the line, and it's our turn to go.

Is it too cliche to confess your love for someone on a ferris wheel?

We both sat down in the seat. My hand was holding hers as our hand rested on my knee. The ride soon started.

Ughh should I tell her. Fuck it. "Hey princess, there's something I've been needing to tell you."

"You're not breaking up with me, are you?" she jokes.

I chuckle. "No, definitely not kind of the opposite."

"So, you're proposing?"

"No, not yet." I could see the blush form across her cheeks as I said that.

"Lyss, you're the most amazing person in the world . And I care about you so much. There's no pressure to say it back or feel the same way now. But I just thought I should tell you."

I pause. "I love you a lot. And I've always had. Probably since I've met you."

"I love you too, ise." She says. As she does, I let out a sigh of relief.

"Really?" I aks unsure. She answers by leaning for a kiss.

My hand moved to cup her cheek. While hers moved to the back of my head, slightly pushing me into the kiss.

Relentlessly, we pulled away our faces inches apart.

We held our stare for a couple seconds. Her face leaned against my hand.

The two of stayed in that moment for what felt like forever.
