Drew just dropped me and Issac off for our date. I was blind folded, basically the whole ride. I have no idea where we are. Issac held onto my hand and put his hand on my back to steady me.

"Can I know where we are now?"

"No, not yet. We need to walk to the spot first." He explains. Suddenly, I feel a tug on my hand. "Come on," he encourages as he slowly guides me along.

I'm wearing black shorts, a blue crop top, and a light green zip-up. I also have on my black converses.

I'm sweating in this jacket. I love springtime and shit but it's hot. Spring is my favorite season. Besides summer.

"And we're here," Issac says as we come to a stop. I feel him untie my blind fold. As my eyes adjust to the light, I see the scenery. I quickly look around. We were near a river with a mountain range in the back. Trees covered the whole land. It was like a Bob Ross painting.

It took me second to notice, but there was a picnic set up near the river. A blanket was put down with a basket. Flowers decorated the area.

I turn my body to face the boy behind me. He had a wide smile on his face.  I quickly jumped into his arms. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he wrapped his around my waist.

"This is amazing, Issac. When did you have time to set this up?" I ask as he slowly puts me down. His hand rested on my waist.  He tilts his head down slightly to look me in the eyes.

"I had a little help." He admits in a low voice. I lean in to give him a quick kiss. I could see his cheeks turn a little pink as I pulled away. I smile as I think about how flustered I make this boy. He took my hand as we walked to the picnic setup.

We both took a seat on the blanket. He had brought us pizza, grapes, and cupcakes. I don't think I've ever loved this man more.

" Does this satisfy all of your hopes and dreams?" I nod as I take a bite of my pizza. I raise an eyebrow at him as he smiles at me.

"What is there something on my face?" I ask as I quickly go to wipe my face with the back of my hand.

He shakes his head no and chuckles. "Nothing, you're just so pretty," he says sweetly as his eyes soften.

"Even when I'm stuffing pizza down my throat," I say as I scrunch my nose at his comment. "I'm literally sweating buckets, and I look like a rat right now. But thanks, bubs." He rolls his eyes playfully at me.

"Well, I love you no matter how you look," he says with a huge smile. I think my heart just melted. I felt a grin grow on my face as I leaned in and kissed him.

After we finished our lunch, we packed up the picnic and took a walk around the river. We held hands and talked for what felt like hours. The two of us sat on these rocks right near the river. His head lay in my lap as I listened to the moving water. Something about being with my person at one of my favorite places is so calming.

We sat here for a while as I played with his hair. His eyes started to shut as I ran my fingers through his hair. I'm in awe. He looks so peaceful when he sleeps.

I suddenly got a text from Kayla. She's picking us up right now. I feel bad for waking him up.

"Bubs, you have to get up," I whisper as I slightly shake his shoulder. His eye flutter open as he squints to look at me. He buries his head into my stomach.

"Can we stay a little longer? I'm tired." He mumbles. I leaned down and kissed his head.

" I want to stay too, but we don't have another ride besides Kayla," I explain to the sleepy boy. He turns his head to look at me. He smiles and then gets up. He stands in front of me and offers his hands out to me. I reach out for his hands and grab the basket.

We walk back to the main street where Kayla is parked. As we get in Kayla bombard us with a bunch of questions.

"So how was your date?" Kayla looked at us while smirking.

"It was great," I say as I lean against Issac. He wraps an arm around my shoulders. We talked about our date the whole car ride before getting dropped off back at Walter's.

I quickly run upstairs to change and tell Jackie. We both sat on her bed like we've done many times.

"Jackie, I think I love him," I confess to my sister. Her face is filled with shock.

"Really," she questions. I nod and shrug, still not sure myself.

"Have you told him yet?"

"No, not yet." I reply. Jackie pulls me into a comforting hug.

"Well, just tell him whenever you're ready.  He definitely loves you, too. I see it." She says comfortingly as we pull apart. I nod, not knowing what else to say.

After our talk, I decided to go back to my room. I walk in to see Issac taking a nap.
I slowly walk up to the bed, not to disturb him. I get into the spot next to him. I snuggle up to him and lay my head on his chest as he subconsciously wraps an arm around my waist. I relax into him and slowly fall asleep.

I'm back. Sorry I haven't been posting I've been on vacation. I've also been working on another book. Thanks for reading.🩵
