Alright ladies and gentle slugs, this marks the end of Changbin's arc, and I imagine we'll be seeing him in a lot better of a mood from now on, as we switch our focus on our newest drama, I hope you'll be ready for an even bigger rollercoaster of emotions. What we've been through is nothing compared to what were going to be put through! And oh my goodness and I so excited for it! Because I posted these chapters so much sooner than I was expecting to (I always want to post as soon as my chapters are finished) I'm not sure if we'll have another new chapter next week, (I always get weirdly shy when writing this story lol and honestly any time I write something)

But I'm hoping to push through everything else atm, but I also have two other story ideas I'm working on at the moment (I should really make a new book for my Ateez stories on here lol) And my focus is terrible, but anyways it might be a little bit (I'll try to write the new chapter by at least the end of the month, So I hope you can enjoy the quick chapters while they've been here, and maybe lightly expect them not to come every 6 months again)

Changbin had been extra quiet since Hongjoong's pack had left. You had gotten a bit distracted talking to Hongjoong outside so neither of you had really noticed when the sun had gone down. When another customer had come, you had both separated, Wooyoung walking out with Hongjoong's keys swinging around his finger, and for just a split second you feel very relieved that Wooyoung is not your hybrid.

"I'll see you later then."

"Of course! I'll text you later!"

You have a wide grin on your face that you keep on, finding Changbin sitting on your chair when you get back inside. He notices you coming and turns his head, looking like he's fighting himself.

"You ok buddy?" You ask lightly.

He nods his head, cheeks heating up before turning into a panther, hopping down from the seat. You're quick to take it up again, maybe you could use this time to file away that paperwork you've been avoiding...

Oh...

Or maybe not. Because suddenly you have a lap full of panther taking up almost all of your working room. Maybe you'll just play human chair for a little while. You're not really sure what you can do with your hands, Changbin can be a bit weird about touch and you don't want to hurt him if you don't have to. But you slowly allow your body to settle into a more comfortable position, allowing yourself to relax. But Changbin doesn't move, doesn't growl, doesn't really do much of anything at all. Just rests.

Well... ok then. You scoot a little bit more towards the desk. Letting one of your hands rest on the big fuzzy ribcage, as time goes by you find yourself absentmindedly lightly petting him, before it turns into big long pets. The panther purring hard underneath you.

You don't file the paperwork, putting it off another day, and instead taking to playing on the computer. It's nice to be with Changbin like this, even if both of your legs were uncomfortably falling asleep.

You wish you could have gone home a bit earlier, but honestly this was pretty ok too, it might not be the barbeque you were planning, and you were especially missing the idea of the cake you had bought, but you can't help the way this is making you feel as relaxed as it was.

It's with those thoughts that the door chimes with the sound of someone entering. You look up to the door, but instead of someone new, you see Chan. He isn't even looking at the front, and with your hurt from his earlier quick exit, you're not exactly in the mood to say hi first.

But Chan is looking around, and suddenly his eyes land on you. The furrow of his brow leaves only to pinch back up in confusion.

"Why are you still here? You're supposed to be at home."
