Chapter 27: A Confession (And A Kiss)

I forgot this was supposed to be a romance, so I finally decided to give you some! Guess who gets the kiss! I hope you guys find it to be the fluffiest most cutest moment in the story <3

Also! I've officially planned out the next 10 or so chapters, and we'll have a new member join our crew soon! It may change because some chapters are literally just [31: do some fluffy writing], and we all know how I feel about fluff and no angst.... But things irl have cleared up a bit, so hoping to get chapters coming out on a more consistent basis like they were before, and maybe eventually reach our ending haha

There have been a lot of times in Jisung's life where he's felt like he hasn't mattered. An astounding amount, a severely horrible amount. But none of them could possibly compare to this. Watching all of you, all of you having such a fun time. It seems like a family, truly, and it pisses him off. It shouldn't. He KNOWS that. But he hates not having your attention. He hates watching you have fun without him. He hates the fact that him being here hasn't seemed to change anything at all. He hates that he's loved you for all of these years and you have never seemed to care. And he hates you for it.

He hates that someone else is sleeping in his bed. He hates that someone else has your attention. He hates that he seems to not even fit into this space that used to be his. And you don't even seem to care. He can't DO this anymore! He can stand waiting for you to notice him anymore!

Felix is at all times, pretty happy. Which is good! Because he likes being happy! He hasn't been happy in a long time! But lately... Things have been less happy. You smile less, staring at bills at the table when you think no one else is looking. While Minho and Jisung and Changbin all fight with various levels of playfulness. (Which is even more sad because Jisung never seems to want to play with Felix just the two of them, but always (playfully?) finds himself arguing with a teasing Minho and a strongheaded Changbin). Felix wonders why Jisung doesn't seem to like him at all...

But Felix knows two things. You aren't happy. And Jisung isn't happy. And he doesn't know how to fix either of those things, but he thinks he might have a plan!

Changbin hadn't ever wanted to move in with a human again. He didn't like them. A sentiment he shared with Minho. But he liked it here, for better or for worse. It didn't matter. He was content here. And you made a pretty good pillow he had to admit. He liked that you scolded people when they were mean to him because of how he looked. And... Well... He also thought you were incredibly pretty. He liked the way you scratched his ears. The way you fit against his body. The way you took care of Felix like he was your own. There was something about it that made deep rumbles reverberate in his chest. He liked that you always carried his scent on your skin. The way you didn't mind his shows of possession. Because he had decided, you were his human. Not the other way around.

Changbin was fine with Minho, he was fun most of the time, and it was fun getting to play with the smaller hybrid. Even if he was taller than him in his shifted form, something Minho was content to bring up over and over again. The play fighting was fun. Changbin wasn't sure what he felt about Jisung, Han, whatever name was the real one, he didn't really care enough. He wondered if you were blind or just oblivious to Han's feelings for you, or if you did it so you wouldn't hurt his feelings. Either way, Changbin was content to watch it all play out, lazily swaying his tail as he watched Jising's face turn red and smoke come out of his ears as you babied Minho and Felix.
